Not to be confused with an Imperial SPACE Marine, totally different.

Now I want to see someone kitbash/3D print some Marines based off these dude's armor but with modern space Marine designs.

i think he'd fit the imperial navy breachers a little better

It's an IMPERIAL marine, rather than an imperial MARINE.

Interesting that you painted them like an iron head squat from necromunda.

I heard then referred to as puddle bases but never pudding bases. A quick search shows both terms have been used for them. Puddle makes more sense to me.

I love your new shorts. They are great. Just a little codex compliant treat, that warms my heart. Thanks you two!!!

Hmm, early hint of Navy void trooper…or maybe maybe Solar Auxilia?

Be funny to think games like space fairer & lazier burn were set in the dark age of technology and 40k was the follow up in the history of that universe.

I recall these were 25mm hence them being a bit smaller?

Isn't 40k 25mm? Or at least it was until the Primaris were introduced?
@lordofuzkulak83085 ай бұрын
@@daff4574it was 28mm heroic scale, although over time has crept up closer to 32mm scale. The Primaris marines didn’t alter the scale, they’re just taller minis. Given this one was sculpted by a Perry twin, if it is 25mm, it’s probably closer to a GW LotR mini than a 40k mini of any era.
@bobemmerson15805 ай бұрын
@@daff4574 Nope, 40k is 28mm heroic. The general idea is that a normal human should be 28mm from heel to eyeline. The pre-1990 designs were around 25mm by this metric, but scale creep set in resulted in the nominal scale changing upwards.
@SuperFunkmachine5 ай бұрын
@@daff4574 40k was 2 meters to 1 inch, models where always 28mm, but heroic. Early sculpts could be closer to 25mm.

We're there ever a line of 1st ed imperial guard miniatures? They def had their own rules and distinct style, but never seen anyone play them & only seen them in a battle report in Epic
