Arena should play an animation and celebrate when the duplicate protection kicks in. You start to open another copy of Charming Prince, but then the art for Deflecting Palm bats it away and conjures a new card out of the abyss. They could both make it feel like a big deal and make it obvious what's happening.

They should just implement a system if you have 4 of a card, you get it in every set. It's not like you can sell/trade any of them.

Also worth pointing out that you should check your notifications before crafting any foundations. I wanted two of loot so crafted it played some games, saw the notifications and then got two for free. So wasted two wildcards.

I have the same problem with one of the new brawl decks and it won’t let me add basic lands and that’s only to one of them. There’s only one deck of the new brawl ones that won’t let me do that for some reason, it’s really weird

I was hoping and thought I read from WotC that they were going to make duplicates more grouped together. Clearly not lol. WotC still wants to count your Charming Prince(ss) from ELD to be different and separate from FDN (we are talking same rarity and same treatment). The only thing they did was if you search "Charming Prin", they will show you one card but in reality that could be up to 8 rare wild cards if you wanted to craft the Prince from ELD And from FDN. Utter madness! (I’m perversely ok if they want to upshift old cards into the special guest slot. Allow these upshifted cards to have higher rarities and have different art treatments. Ok fine. You got me. I crafted Faithless Looting because it was pretty and I was not going to wait Shadows of the Past to be released on MTGA)

It’s weird they banned crusade while also printing Templar Knight. Which is arguably worse as it more directly ties to real world events more specifically than simply the world crusade. I think the reason why they banned crusade is the combination of the word the art featuring a Templar a pretty infamous white supremacy symbol and the card buffing specifically white creatures. But still feels odd when they print literal Templar Knight and the most recent printing of crusade features Elspeth Tirel when Templar Knight if ever reprinted can only have a Knights Templar.

pretty sure Crusade got banned because the original art was a literal depiction of the crusades, complete with burning village in the background

That's not the only version of crusade. The elspeth duel deck one just has a picture of elspeth and a group of militia. Besides the original art just shows a line of knights/templars with smoke in the background if not for the name its nothing different than a lot of other magic cards. Don't think it's unreasonable to think they went a bit overboard with the card bannings considering cleanse was banned for the text "destroy all black creatures"
