ARENA Insights Forum: Accelerating Zero-Emissions Heavy Transport

ARENA hosted our 7th Insights Forum in Sydney on 7 November 2024.
ARENA’s Insights Forum is an in-person knowledge sharing event designed to share valuable insights from ARENA-funded projects, industry initiatives and leading research, as well as facilitate connections within a target group of decision-makers from industry, government and academia.
We explored the challenges and opportunities currently facing the heavy transport industry, which is expected to become Australia’s largest emissions generator by 2030.
The program focused on 'Accelerating Zero-Emissions Heavy Transport', from last-mile delivery to the future of zero-emissions freight. The event featured innovative projects and key decision-makers from the heavy transport industry.
We welcomed our keynote speaker Sita Holtslag, Europe Director at CALSTART, one of the main driving forces behind the Netherlands’ leadership on zero-emission freight vehicles. She shared her insights from her work in policy advocacy, industry engagement, and scaling vehicle deployments.
