sensorship: Agreed! That feature is only available on the Boss VE500-E/I model. They have one for Spanish, too! That's the Boss VE500-E/S model. With either model ... just switch it to the 'bilingual' mode. Great demo.

I wish I knew that before I ordered one. I got the Spanish version E/S model and I had to send it back and it took two more weeks because it had to reach the store in Mexico before they would ship the English version. Live and learn. 😂

The pitch correction is actually a great tool for practicing… when you match your voice to the corrected output you end up singing in tune better when you don’t have pitch correction.

Charming and informative. I too am not a fan of pitch correct but when it's all been said and done YOU don't need pitch correction at all. After watching this video I have decided to invest in the ve 500. I have looked at several effects and harmony units and this one seems to provide the best all around tools to create some unique and interesting sounds Thanks again for the beautiful and intelligent review. I think I am a fan. Loved the Italian lyrics--very evocative. Keep up the good work. Jim

Any guidance on how you got the unit to sound like 6:05? It's far from any preset that came with the ve-500, and the harmonies sound very smooth. I've been trying to get there but mine keeps coming out sounding robotic... Thanks!!

Only a few videos on youtube with harmonizing vs. everything else (no effects added) and I still wonder what vocal processor with straight forward harmonizing with slight pitch correction sounds like for at least 5 seconds? With singing words? Which one sounds 'the best'? All vocal harmonizers as well as Boss pedals and TC Helicon lack this straight forrward approach (usually lots of instruments and effects)? By-the-way you have a great voice and look great too with loads of personality! Thanks.

Nice voice, not sure she knows what are the main effects for vocals (eq, compression, de-essing)... there are no KZbin reviews for this pedal, being one of the first I would have taken the opportunity to show its features in a very different way (a delayed distorted harmony makes very little sense).

Great voice and great singer, but in the Harmony session, you need the adjust the pitch or use the instrument chords for vocal harmonys follows the pitch, because some notes sounded out of harmony. All the best and congratulations for video.

I think if you are making a demo, you must test everything... If you personally don´t like it pitch correction, and your personal opinion prevails here...then you aren´t not the correct person to show us this product. Pitch correction is not only for loose singers, it can be used for stylish your vocals... Yes, I´m sure you are a great artist, but is not a good presentation...everything was very superficial and lacks of details

Frustrating that gear is designed to be cheap and accessible. I supposed the thought will forever continue to be, If they put the best of everything in it, and actually made it good, nobody could afford it. We will probably never have the "limited edition" type of passion going into this type of gear like you do with guitars. So while your guitar tone can harmonize with the gods, your vocal tone will harmonize with a drive-thru order.

Yeah, hypocrite... you "don't like pitch correct", and prefer singers who can actually "hit the note" but you are ok with completely fabricating vocal harmonies. Look, a lot of singers can "hit the notes" perfectly... but in a 4 hour live show 5-7 nights a week, sometimes a singer's voice gets tired and their ears also become fatigued. Getting a little help from the box with a little pitch correction is not such a bad thing. It is just as legit as you using fabricated pitch perfect harmonies. P.S. you were slightly flat in a couple spots in this vid! Have a good day!
