8/10 These two wins vs New Zealand and South Africa were immense and historical. Good performance in Dublin too. I deduce two points for the loss at home this summer against a French C side and the loss against Australia at home too. Had they won these two games, I would have given them a 9.5 Had they beaten Ireland, it would have been a 10.

Tim gotta take in consideraion that for that 1st game against France only had one day of actually rugby training. Most players are all over Europe and only get together a week before test matches. Arg is the most traveled team in tier 1, play in both hemispheres all year(NH at club level and european cups and SH in the RCH), and UAR have no control over players like other unions. Like you said, dont have the depth of SA or the franchises of NZ or AU. There's a lack of world class players in some key positions...So in that scenario I think it was a great start for Contepomi's team building solid bases for RWC 2027. Specially if some players from Pumitas (U20s) and SRA can develope at a higher level

This was a historic year for Los Pumas. And they have played with courage and passion. If this is where they are starting given the new coaching staff and build, they could be extraordinary come 2027.

8/10 from France. They manage to be a great rugby nation with less budget and infrastructures than the other top teams. Don't forget Top 14 and Premiership help Argentinians to make some huge progress too.

Judged on their own merits, they get 8.5/10 from me - they've just played the best rugby in their history over the past year, and ending the year at an unprecedented no.5 in the rankings for them is MASSIVE!!! 🔥🤘

Deserved 7.5, although the got to a semi final in the WC they were terrible in a lot of games and a skewed draw secured that for them. Since then they have improved and will get better , would be nice to see them really challenge for the rugby championship .

Just need consistency but it was a very tough season for them. Really looking forward to seeing them put more 80min performances out. How do they do that with the players euro club commitments?

Lots of optimism but their performances have been quite up and down. Amazing backline potential. With such good loosies, maybe Kremer can become a solid lock, his performance there was a bit lackluster when they put him there for the one game but he had some other incredible performances.
