Great video! I've been to Argentina for holiday twice in the past.I plan on living in Argentina for a year or two when I retire at the end of 2023. My employer asked me to work remotely for a year or two. As Argentina is only one hour ahead of the Bahamas, it's an ideal place for me to work remotely. I plan on visiting Buenos Aires for two or three weeks in January or February to see if I would be happy to live there. However, no matter how much I fall in love with Buenos Aires, I shall never be a mate fan. I'll stick to cappuccino with soy milk, of course.

Hello! I'm from Argentina, I live in Villa Urquiza, one of the Capital Federal hoods. There are lots of places, other "provincias" that you should visit: Cataratas del Iguazú en Misiones - Ushuaia en Tierra del Fuego - El Calafate en Santa Cruz - Córdoba - Bariloche y San Martín de los Andes en Río Negro - Salinas Grandes en Salta y Jujuy - Valle Grande y el Atuel en Mendoza - Potrero de los Funes en San Luis.

@clarisakohan42442 жыл бұрын

Hola! Let me make a correction about your use of the word calabaza. Calabaza means gourd and is the vegetable that that mate is made of. Not all mates are made of calabaza, the one you have there is, but we call that a mate (the container, it has the same name as the drink itself). If you want to refer to the material it is made of, or the type of mate, you would say it is a "mate de calabaza". Then there are the other materials: mate de metal, mate de madera, mate de vidrio etc. So, to sum it up, all these containers are called mates, none of them is called "calabaza", that is simply the material / type of the gourd mates. Also, the leaves are called "yerba mate" or yerba for short. Enjoy :-)

Hello, maybe you can get a humanitarian visa and try to get a job, with that contract change to a normal residency visa. There are always ways to make the change.
