Era tan bueno Riquelme, que directamente no participaba del juego ofensivo para no hacerlo mas lento, deja que la velocidad la manejen Gago y Mascherano que conectaban con mas velocidad con los tres monstruos de arriba: Aguero, Di Maria y Messi. En este partido y casi en toda la competencia el se dedico a la distribución y soporte, mas 5 de juego que otra cosa. Un genio absoluto que entendia cualquier situacion de juego.

Teniendo a Riquelme, Veron, Gago, Mascherano, Dalesandro, Cambiasso, etc, etc. como nunca encontramos, salvo en juveniles o Olimpicos un mediocampo que funcione para los moustritos de arriba, Messi, Aguero, DiMaria, Tevez, Higuain... Increible, nunca encontramos el conductor desde el banco de suplentes, en este generacion se vio lo que es la falta de un DT y la desorganizacion desde la dirigencia. Sabella y Pekerman fueron la esepcion. Pero nunca hubo un proyecto con estos chicos que fueron una generacion de jugadores increible.
