Hey Men My Husband and I have been together for 30 years and we have a 9 year age difference. We have raised my biological son together, worked and owned businesses together since the beginning. We are now happily retired down in Mexico. It has always been our custom to never go to sleep mad at each other. This really keeps us talking through those silly "disagreements" that so often can spiral out of control. We have had plenty of arguments in that time, and most are over petty little things. Most of them are over something that pisses off the other for what ever reason and often are a surprise to the other. We have, for the most part, learned to fight fair. Hard to do, when you want to bite the head off the other one, but very important;. Since it clearly upsets you both when these things happen, I figure you are doing it right and are fine, don't you . Good video guys. Thanks for sharing.

I AGREE! After 7 years together my husband and I split up and lived apart for all of 3 months but it was because of a lack of communication and mutual respect. FINALLY we started listening to each other and I got my point across about how terrible he made me feel and we are coming up on our 9 year anniversary (and this is with me coming out as trans *ftm* very shortly after I moved back in). No matter the age difference or not sharing EVERY hobby or how you deal with emotions, relationships take WORK. We still have a long way to go and we might not even make it but now I can say it won't be because of a lack of *trying* on either of us. Y'all are adorable btw!

This was a great video. Reminds me of my relationship sometimes. I have said the “maybe we should break up” comment before and I agree it’s toxic. This video actually made me apologize to my boyfriend for doing it in the past. Thanks for helping me realize my mistake. Hope you guys are well :)

It's when you never fight you have a problem......an argument or fight shows you still care and love the person you are with. Relationships are hard, some days you are able to give 95% and the other can only give 5% but the next time they may give 95% and you can only give 5%. So keep fighting! It shows your fighting to keep something worth fighting for! You quit fighting then you've quit caring.

It's a good day for me when I receive that notification saying you guys posted. 😊 Yes relationships take a lot of work. Arguments are bound to happen at some point or another. But it's how you communicate to each other and work together to iron out any kinks that may occur along the way. I don't foresee you two ever breaking up. I think you're both in it for the long haul. 😉 Your relationship is the definition of love. 👬❤ All the ups n downs included. So when can we expect the wedding video to be uploaded? 😆👰😄 I think any healthy relationship includes arguments, aye? Also, I'm the same way Dillon. I rarely ever get mad, but when I do, it's better for me to just go cool off on me own. Otherwise I'll wind up saying something I might regret. Round of applause to Dillon for saying that bit about not throwing toxic words around. 👏🖒I remember awhile back you guys did a ghost video of sorts, talking about a woman in white. Maybe she's returned? Have you ever looked into the full history of the property you're at? Wouldn't mind seeing a video on that. Maybe you could even do a bit of spirit hunting in your home. See if you can't capture some e.v.p.'s or something. Just a thought. 😊 Loads of love n such from an Irish lass. x

I don't think that any couple can say that they have never argued before, it does not make your relationship a bad one, however i always believe that when u argue u do it behind closed doors. I know u only bloged this to show your followers that ur just as normal as any other couple and that's great because i would look at ur blogs and hope to be just as happy as u guys are, and u made me see that it's just a make believe world that i am hoping for. In life when people fight it sometimes makes us more aware of the side of us that we need to change not just for others but for ourselves, and in change we learn to appreciate others a whole lot more. Thanks for the blog.

Arguments - my husband and I have been together for 19 years, we are both in our early 50s, most of of painful arguments revolved around our son, and raising our son. We can both be stubborn. After all these years he still has idiosyncrasies (and I’m sure I do) that STILL ‘pluck my nerves’ - but time has also taught me how to ignore, say nothing, understand, forgive these - most of the time. I also try to say ‘sorry’ more quickly (even if I don’t really mean it) so we can move beyond whatever hurdle arose. I totally agree, relationships ARE work! I love him, and would hate to live without him 😘👍💪

I was in a very violent relationship with a guy for seven years, he beat me up made me feel small and put me in hospital more than three times, last time i ended up on the operation table having my leg and hip put back together. The guy that did that to me said he loved me????, and that year he said we would have an amazing xmas together, I had to work xmas eve that yr, when i got home that evening the house was totally striped of everything. just my two cats waiting with empty bowls. I was mortified i thought the guy i loved had changed?. I had no option to carry on, till one day i met a guy and he came round for a night ( which ended up being three weeks ) and we just got on, we have since moved in together, had a civil marriage and NEVER had a row, we just know each other, and he understands my past because my ex has left physical pain now in my life through my leg and hip surgery. I'm 45, my husband is 60, ( you don't need a age to be happy ), Fuck em i say, enjoy live be happy. I learnt the hard way. Thanks for your vlogs, guys, keep it up

Lol, oh guys! You are so smart for showing this. It seems like all the KZbinrs that don't show moments that they are not perfect, those are the ones that don't make it! People argue because they have PASSION! The day you don't care enough to argue/ fight / spat, whatever you call it that is when the passion is gone and you had better change something. I've been married for 30+ years and let me tell you how much passion we have: we were broke, the young parents starting out kind of broke. There was a recession & he had been out of work for 9 months. It was the first time he had been off and I'm pretty sure the last & I was doing hair in a little shop he had made me in the garage. Ok that's the background. We had been invited to his parents to a dinner, his mom is prob the best cook on the planet. (Sorry mama, to my mom) anyway we got in a fight, I don't even remember why. At that point the sound of each other's breathing was enough. 9 months is a long ass time to be broke and he is such a hard worker, it was rough. Anyway, I called his folks up told them we loved them and each other but we were having a fight and I didn't even want to sit in the car with him at that point let alone pretend I liked him in front of the rest of the family. This is where it gets real: we stayed home and ate macaroni & cheese made with water, not milk and butter the way the nasty ass stuff in the blue box was supposed to be made. Our baby was in bed and we ate in silence, well as silent as you can be while eating something that gross. Love can make you stupid. Thanks for sharing something so personal, please don't ever stop showing us how real you are and remember you fight, quibble, bicker, pick, etc because you have PASSION, that's a good thing.💜

after the first 5 years you need to hug and kiss and show daily affection to keep the fire going. Communication is of the essence. What can also work is each partner keeping a daily journal and allowing each other to read it at the end of each day.... it allows to see how differently we interpret or see the same things.
