I’m loving how your Lauder turned out. It reminds me of fall, Gilmore Girls, academia vibes ❤

Thanks for another great podcast! I really like the Hip Stripe Shawl with the low contrast. I'm working on three knitting and one spinning project while watching and alternating between them. One of them is the traveller with handspun and the other two are baby knits.

That sounds so fun!

Losing power is so hard, especially when you are the adult! I still vividly remember when we lost it for several days and it’s been three years. I also love the oxbow sucks, but unfortunately cannot join the mal this time. Hope to make them in the future. Your projects look so fun - I want to badge a traveler too! Oh - and the yarn you over dyed for Meghan is gorgeous!

So true! Sometimes I forget that I am the adult haha. I totally recommend the oxbow socks!

It's no fun shelling out for a generator but it makes losing power a lot easier ❤ Both your vests look fab!

Aw thanks! Yeah doing a lot of research on generators now and it's a bit overwhelming but I think it will be worth it

As someone who has never knit with handspun before I have to say I'm very tempted to cast on sommething for the KAL, even though I'm mainly a garment knitter with occasional sock projects. It looks so cool whenever you use handspun in a project. So yeah I think I'll have to participate...

Yes please do! I think you'll really enjoy it ❤️

I live on the coast of. Wine and we have a lot of storms with high wind. We usually lose power a few times a year. A couple of years ago, we were out for a week! We got a generator after that, which takes away that worry about no heat. And no refrigeration, etc, etc.

WOW a week is so long! 😮 I'm definitely looking into getting a generator, there's so many different kinds!

@ ha! I just read my comment and it should say the coast of Maine! Autocorrect to coast of Wine is pretty funny tho 😂

The hipster shawl is looking good with that suri/fingering combo. That was a great idea. I’m with you having had my eye on that design for the longest time. One of these days I’ll knit one. So did you have boxes and boxes of Woolberry yarn? It feels like it. Glad you met your goal using it all up. My goal is to decide on the project first, then buy the yarn, and then to cast on right away. It stresses me having random yarn sitting there waiting to be used. So I’ve heard that some people put their knits through the spin cycle to have it dry faster. Not sure if I would dare, but they insist it doesn’t felt the fabric.

I've also heard of people putting their knits through the spin cycle! My washer sadly doesn't have a spin cycle, only a rinse AND spin cycle 😞
