These were released to celebrate the Platinum Edition of the movie back in 2006-2007ish right? I remember they had almost like an entire section in retail stores of new TLM merch back then with this same exact stylized designs on practically everything. Clothing, shoes, posters, stationery items and THE TOYS. Omg I vividly remember my mother buying me this Ariel polly pocket style mini doll. The package was a teal clam shell that you could actually use as a bag. It had those rubbery clothes you can dress her with and what attracted me most to it was the fact that the mini doll was made in this same stylized design as these dolls! For some reason the merchandise of these stylized versions of The Little Mermaid are very hard to come by on the secondary market. I can not find that “Polly pocket” stylized Ariel anywhere. I’ve tried to research it and found nothing.. I’m starting to feel like I dreamt it but I know I didn’t cause I still have the teal clam shell bag it came in 😂

harrypotterfanlover I guess the third one is a 'prequel'. It's called Ariel's Beginnings. Yeah the sequel didn't have the same feels or characters.
