Oh, crazy thing I want to mention. Picked up my son from school on the Grizz yesterday. Very steep dirt trail with a couple hundred feet of elevation change to get home, 18 miles round trip. Battery was showing 65% when we got home. Awesome, right? Shut off the batteries and came back later. Batteries had bounced back to 74%! Haha. Love this bike. I can make 3 trips to pick him up with battery to spare at the end.

I got a leak in my "puncture resistant" front Grizzly tire on my second dirt ride. I recommend some slime or flat-out before you ride. Glad I to see a front wheel burnout. I didn't want to have to unsubscribe. Haha. Flatland 3D makes some good fingerless gloves I use for Onewheeling, pricey but good. I hit 35 yesterday on PA mode 6. Haha. So awesome. I will be the rebel that exposes the secret code. It's 1919.

I'm 6'4 but only weight about 160 . No problem peddling but you're going to need the long saddle. Unfortunately because I'm so lite the suspension is way to harsh. And the only adjustment is putting air in the rear shocks. Even though it has an compression adjustment collor on the rear shocks. The manufacturers Say not to use it peroid. Hopefully they will come out with lighter springs for the rear end. Then you should be able to use the spring compression adjustment. 🤞

How secure do you feel with the handlebars? It looks like you would strip them out the first time you try to pull the front wheel off the ground to go up a curb or ride over an obstacle. Even so - It’s not a deal killer as long as there is someone has an upgrade solution that you can install. Any thoughts about the ruggedness of the handlebars?

Why would it strip? It's got a good BMX 1 1/8" cross-cut clamping stem on it. You would have to get in a hard wreck to make them slip but won't strip if you tighten the stem to the spec torque. if you're that worried just put some green piston retaining compound on the bars before clamping them and it won't slip no matter what unless you remove the clamping bolts. If that's not enough for you then any 1 1/8 bicycle stem will fit, they have thousands to choose from. from $10 to $500 they all do the same thing.

@SHREDDIEMCSKATE The major downgrade to the Grizzly is the fact that they didn’t make the bike with front and rear turn signals and brake lights. It’s no way they forgot to have turn signals on it. So that’s an automatic safety precaution because cars, motor cycles, scooters, mopeds, and even most ebikes are now coming with turn signals and brake lights. So that’s a very important thang they should consider having on that bike. Maybe they should do a recall on them and start fixing that situation. Eventually it’s going to be mandatory that all ebikes be registered anyway. So that stuff is going have to be on the bike automatically. This way most ebike companies won’t have to worry about speed limits and putting pedals on the bikes to fool the police. Unless the buyer request to have pedals on there bikes with assistance. I actually love pedal assistance on my bike simply because it makes the bike go faster and I’ll get some exercise out of it at the same time.

I got my Grizzly up to 34 mph flat with slightly overinflated tires. Also, some of the people showing the 52 volt top speed are using the display to measure, rather than GPS. Do to wheel size variations, the default settings for the display shows higher speeds than GPS by about 2 mph. Shreddie uses GPS. You can see that his controller is displaying slower speeds than his phone GPS. If you use his controller display, like the 2 volt videos do, the Grizzly shows just as fast.

Man I ordered two x class bikes from Ariel.. back in early April. Shipping date was supposed to be May 28.. They still haven't shipped. I was taking my vacation middle of June hoping to take those bikes to Austin.. Word to the wise.. Don't expect speedy service. Don't expect to buy what you want. No customizations allowed. You can't order what you want, unless purchased after you order online. Don't expect to be able to PAY for a bigger battery or different handlebars. They won't do it. I don't care if you want to pay, no is the answer you will get. They will let you know when they are ready to sell it to ya! Plenty of unused junk Ariel parts out there, because you HAVE to buy an extra. Nobody over there cares about people having extra parts that are brand new that you don't need or want! So far Ariel has ruined my vacation. They don't work with you to give you what you want.. I'd say they're pretty much a crap company(customer service wise), other than having a good quality product. Maybe look at a Rad bike or a Bakou.. I wish I had.

let's not forget how Ariel Rider released an entirely upgraded version of the Grizzly 2 months after the first people started finally getting their first batch of bikes and are still trying to pass it off like it's normal. Normal is releasing a product that is stable and standing behind it, not taking peoples money in presales and then two months into the new product being finally in the hands of a few people releasing a bike with upgraded batteries, two chargers, upgraded motors controllers and what else, adding that the new 1000 watt motors are also probably illegal in many large cities and people had no chance to choose between them they just announced out of the blue that the next batch of bikes would have entirely different components. Trash company do not buy from them there are plenty of better bikes out and companies who will support those bikes long into the future not upgrade them two months into releasing them. Not to mention if you review the bike on their site negatively they hide the review, how honest is that?

They kept announcing new upgrades, first dual 1000w motors larger battery packs and two chargers, then after people brought up it was going to have the same controller an upgraded controller to push out more power, and then better rear suspension not sure if there's anything else. It would have been cool if they had at least reached out to people who got the first batch of bikes two months ago rather than make this big showy announcement on Facebook that the Grizzly V2 is ready to drop two months after the first bike got to us. I'm not an angry person but that did get me heated.
