Comedian Aries Spears recently shared an amusing anecdote about the time he got surrounded by rapper DMX and his crew after doing impressions of him. According to Spears, he met DMX at a concert where he was trying to get the rapper's endorsement for his comedy CD which featured prank phone calls as rappers. However, when DMX heard about this, the rapper and his crew surrounded Spears, making him worried over possible backlash. Despite the severe fright, Spears stated that DMX's response was rather laid-back, merely asking him to play his work before he decided whether or not to endorse it. The event ended without any incident but the comedian admitted he was scared by DMX's intimidating demeanor and remembered the encounter with a mixture of hilarity and fear.

you don't put it under your tongue, you cheek it. And you basically get lumps in your mouth for weeks until your mouth is finally able to keep the blaze in there without actually getting too cut. it's months of practise so that even if you get cut, people can't tell bc that would defeat the purpose. yeah, you have to practise talking. you learn to relax one side of your face but for weeks/months, even if it's comfortable in your mouth, people can still tell because your spit is red which again defeats the purpose. yeah, insane world we live in.

@gloriempaka9474 you don't keep it in your mouth when you're out of your cell until you're proficient. Normally, it would be to arm yourself for a job or self-defense. But most people/places don't really go that hard; people are separated by essentially levels of violence related to their charges. The irony I've found is that the "attempted" charges, people are still trying to prove things. When you've actually killed someone and got 25 years, people tend not to mess around with you or your crew ie you're not walking around with a razor blade. Most fights in prison are not fatal, they're just to send a message to a person or group. I've only seen one guy go in with an attempted and then actually kill someone inside but you can literally look at the guy's face and see he's going to hell. You avoid people like that. Even crews don't want ppl like that unless they're expendable.. and you keep them in reserve to do a job and then cut ties after. It's stupid. You go in and if youve never been to jail, your humanity has to be left outside. They treat you like a animal and most ppl are just animals inside, physically and metaphorically. I try not to think about it. If you've never been to jail, you wouldn't know but for those who have, you literally get flash backs and it makes literally every moment outside meaningful. Hopefully you come out and there are still ppl that care about you.

I’ve seen dudes do that thing with the razor blade before. One time we were heading to club and my boy asked me to stop and pick his homeboy up, and the dude just got in the car and didn’t say much. Once we got to the club right after I parked he flicked his tongue and a razor blade came out. That’s how he went in the club that night. We separated so I don’t know what happened after that.
