A country with oil but can't manage it. Over 50 years still battling over ⛽ fuel issues.
@Promise-mt8hd2 ай бұрын
my joy is thet it is a very welcome development,but my biggest fear is that it's going to be more costly than fuel ,either sooner or later as soon as more people started demanding for it,and that is Nigeria for u... Nigeria has been a country while trying to escape from the leopard ,a lion meet u. it's so sad anyway🤔

@kelvinkelzy3706Ай бұрын
Law of demand and supply is a demonic and self centered law. I never liked nor agreed with it for once. Its a law of extortion and nothing else. Nigerians love to extort one another and this you wrote here i said it before and it will surely come to pass except otherwise great leaders emerge to lead this country and its people aright
@yetunde.yАй бұрын
It won't get too expensive. Clean gas is the way to go. As of today, the cost of natural gas is significantly lower than the cost of crude oil, with a typical barrel of crude oil costing around 75 dollars while natural gas is priced around 2.6 dollars per million British thermal units (MMBtu). Nigeria is a gas rich nation - #1 in Africa and #8 in the world. We have over 200 trillion cu.ft of gas untapped. Consider keying into the initiative.

Once people begin to convert their vehicles demand will increase and as result our marketers will keep increasing the price as the way some of them are doing with petrol. What measures are you taking to tackle this kind of issues because last year the liter of CNG was around N110 but now it's sold at around N230. What happened? We need to tackle this unnecessary increments.

CNG Stations are needed in States Such as Abia Imo Enugu Anambra Ebonyi Rivers Cross River Bayelsa as well as it time for Nigeria to turn the page the price of Petrol and Diesel is Expensive, CNG Is the way forward,
@arinzedavid46382 ай бұрын
They roll out conversion kits to the people and there are just 2 functional stations to fill the gas in the whole of Abuja, all 5 NNPCL stations commissioned months ago are not functional, in a matter of weeks the queue for gas is going to be longer than fuel, the govt who's promoting cng would also make the people regret converting their cars due to ease of filling same gas, drivers would spend more time at the statoon trying to fill gas than fuel, more so the only 2 functional stations are out of town. The govt through NNPC are bent on making live difficult for the people, giving free kits without functional filling stations will cause a bigger problem.
@EbubeDibie2 ай бұрын
This point is a major deterrent to conversion for most people. Alongside the risk of future price increments. Nigeria is run by people who are hellbent on making life unbearable for its citizenry.

Tinubu is unpopular on the streets because of failure of those he appointed not because of he lacks great or disruptive ideas. . Where is type 2 and type 3 cylinder manufacturing in Nigeria ? where are companies that make solenoid valves and pressure reducing valves? Where are makers of PCB needed to control the engine in CNG mode? where are companies that make gas tubes and seals ? These are easy to implement technologies if right people are engaged, in fact you done need up to N10Billion to set up entire kit chain. They keep talking as if CNG is high tech. The money used to import kit by government would have create those factories, or subsidize those who will do it, lock in jobs and tax and create a completely new revenue sector for our country. I have tried reaching out to those I know, it is sad that big opportunity is being wasted and we are getting result of 10% where we can get 70-80% ....sad.
