You're quite welcome. Arizona is such an amazing place to explore.

Was wondering when you would notice the broken antenna. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, there was a lot to keep an eye on while in that section. Until we started discussing antennas.

Brings back memories Mark! I did the AZ BDR several years ago with two friends. One of the best trips I've ever done. Funny the comment about the Mexican side by the border looks better than the American side. I thought the same thing as we went by.

That's got to be rough on a bike. We saw some bikers the first couple days, but one of them was struggling a bit. We never did see them in the latter part of the trip. They may have opted for the main route when we were on an alternate. Hopefully they accomplished their goal. Anyway, hat's off to you, Bob, for your success.

Pretty diverse terrain. Love it. Quite a bit of pavement on that BDR route it seems. Looking forward to more. George.

There's a bit of pavement. But the dirt parts do make up for that. And keep in mind there are several route options. We kept to those rated difficult (also that those ratings are meant for ADV bikers).

@@DxDOverland aware the BDR's were designed by the Dual Sport crowed. Overlanders just adopted them. This BDR looks pretty interesting. Idaho's looks pretty boring, road condition wise that is. I like rougher roads, more entertaining. I think the overgrown trees would have turned back a lot of "overlanders".

I do believe that you are right about some folks choosing the alternate route.
