I'm so happy your kitchen island has the split levels - I think that looks soooo much better than a sink sitting right in the middle of a flat island, with the million & one cleaning products & tools sitting around the sink. (I can't stand that house trend!)The split level will contain splashes and will hide your dish soap, sponge, scrub brush, hand soap, essential oil, etc from view. 😊

For outdoor curtains you can totally do your trick for indoor curtains with the pipe. We used a painters canvas and cut it to the correct length and added clip on rings and instant outdoor curtains. Painters canvas is cheap so we just buy a fresh one every spring/summer

I LOVE your new home!!! It is beautiful! I cannot wait to see your DIY projects. You should think about extending the outdoor kitchen area and make it L shaped. Put in a fridge and maybe a wine fridge or beer tap and maybe like a fryer or something too. That spot is perfect to extend it out in. I agree more shelves in the pantry area for sure. Maybe try and get the ones that you can pull them down.. if that's possible.

That house is GORGEOUS!!!! the wood accent wall cutout absolutely needs plants and plants and plants. Airplants, tiny succulents, etc. Some bamboo as well - contrast of green plants and brown wood will make the atmosphere and feng shui right there extra amazing. Congrats!!!

I recomend you to put some kind of rack at 45° angle over your fences so neither your cats can go out of the back yard nor other animals can come in. The 45° angle it's because cats don't feel like they can jump on or over it. If you do that, not only they're going to be safer, the will feel safer because they wouldn't have to protect their territory. They'll be more relax 😊

So I‘m from Germany and in Germany most of the people are „preparing“ their old houses or flats for the new owners, means: We paint all the walls in white again and cover every uneven part of all walls. I love seeing how other contries handel this. 😌☺️
