Waaaa😥😥 I just looked. Unless the Lord does A LOT (which I will NEVER DISCOUNT) on my older and differently abled body I won't be able to do this hike. But the hot springs looked lovely! Thank you for sharing. (I know, it was a while ago). We found you via the other couple in the video.

Yay! You found the video we did with half of WIld RV Life before they hit the big time! 😁 I would classify this hike as moderate to difficult for sure. Especially if you are there when it's remotely hot. -J

We tried finding some cool stuff with Craig while you were gone...all we found was a dam with no water. 😂

Thanks for the video! Im planning on going this weekend with my two housemates! One of them is worried about the uphill on the way back, how long/difficult would you say the hike back was? did you take any water breaks? Looks like fun!!

Such a cool place!! Question, do you have as much trouble with your rv as Craig and Victoria had with there 2014?

We have not. We were actually with them oustide of Vegas when theirs was really beginning to have some major issues (before they started back up on KZbin) and it honestly made me appreciate this rig. It's nearly 20 years old and - it's never had suspension issues (we're gonna test that in Alaska 😂) - I had one slide out gear break but I was able to fix it myself (and may I tell you that gear is HEAVY duty! I'd hate to put a newer slide system on it just because the original is so hardy) Any issues with this RV have been due only to age (the roof), and lack of care by it's current owners. Actually - it does have a crack in the fiberglass by the front slideout that I'm still trying to figure out a permenant fix for. I repaired it and it cracked again instantly. I'm pretty sure there is a weak spot there. It seems to be a common issue. -J

@@OpenRoading that's awesome that your rig has been so good to you! Do you think jaco is better built than Dutchman? Or did Craig just get a lemon?
@OpenRoading
@OpenRoading 10 ай бұрын
@@shawnbeerens4292 haha...I do not... not because I'm an expert but because I've seen some rather cheap looking Jaycos. If I were to make a broad brush statement (which of course are always full of exceptions) I would say older is better than newer. I think in the early 2000's RVs were built stronger than they are today. I believe some companies are trying to change that but when I look at the overall "bones" of this rig, it's built a lot "heftier" than a lot of modern RVs that seem to try to get away with the lightest axles, frames, etc. All that said...I wouldn't at all be shocked if we break down at some point in Alaska - but if we do - it's all part of the journey! -J

We recently found your channel and are really enjoying it!!! We especially like these type videos where you show us beautiful places you've been. We are retired and have a camper van. We take, at least, one long trip every year out west and camp in the southeast, fairly local, the rest of the time. We would totally visit some of the places you've been so it is awesome to see them first! We live in AL.

If you note the top of our description it says "Arizona hot springs trailhead" If you google "Arizona hot springs trailhead" combined with the knowledge that we said this was right outside LasVegas you will see that the first result is indeed this trail. Our channel is primarily entertainment focused - while we don't in any way try to hide the locations we go to, we don't give detailed "Turn left here, turn right there" directions to where we are because that's not the point of the channel. Thanks for watching! -J
