Funny, that block of slate with you reached out to and touched, I posted a picture on a FB group and within a couple weeks, three other people posted the same picture. Something about that spot on the trail going up that wows us. The jets overhead, Luke AFB just inside Hwy 303 does F-35 training.

Nice! I guess because it stands out so starkly from the surrounding rock, and the way it just seems to be sandwiched in there makes it even more eye-catching. So cool that so many people appreciate it enough to snap a picture!

I rarely record my hikes but trying to lately. I put about 400 miles in last y at and recorded only a handful of my hikes.
