Just found your video. The small can opener is called a P-38. I always carry one. Thanks for the video.

Good Job 👍 Another EDC travel video I watched recommended a carpenters pencil sharpener to shave down twigs for kindling. That was a first for me.

I dont know if anyone makes it, but maybe consider some sling shot bands that can attach to a decent forked stick, that way if you wind up stranded somewhere, you have a way to hunt small game and even protect yourself, i doubt you can bring a manufactured slingshot even if taken apart (i dont know of any that can be taken apart in the first place). But if you can find or even make some rubber bands strong enough that can be attached to a stick, or even the ends of the handles for your pliers, you could turn your pliers into a sling shot? And a sling shot can use whatever you may find for ammunition such as rocks etc. maybe glass pellets or hard plastic ones. And if you know how to make arrows from wood, you can bring some rubber O/seal rings and turn the sling shot into a sling bow.

I didnt know you could tape up batteries to preserve the charge, or that batteries could even lose charge if they arent in anything, i will have to change that up. Id also maybe add one of those kershaw small spoon/fork survival utensil things as well. Can you bring a cable lock? And maybe add some karabiners? Id also add chap stick, you can use that to help with fire starting too and preserving stuff as well and help waterproof zippers on your bag etc. The cable lock or even a small pad lock/key lock combod with a car key lanyard or even that handkerchief could be used for self defense too. Are you allowed to bring a small wire saw?

You can take a bic lighter through TSA. I take one with no problems. I just put in with my car keys, wallet & other miscellaneous items.

Hey buddy, just an FYI, the tourniquet you have appears to be for blood draws/ IV starts, not for life threatening bleeds. If looking for something that is minimalist like ( Not TCCC approved) look into the RATS tourniquet. Otherwise, look into the SWAT-T, SOF-T, SAMXT Tourniquet, or CAT tourniquet.

I’m aware and I do own several of those listed. This is specifically a light weight kit and thought I would throw that one in . Thanks for watching!

The tourniquet is not good for severe wounds you'll better carry a cat tq instead of that
