It helped. Was crashing every 15 minutes now nothing in hours. Thank you very very much ! I guess the devs don't have time to adapt the game to every new NVIDIA driver at this point in time with all the other work they have going on.

Saved me from quitting the game. Before this video I was crashing every time I leave my base or do any quick movements for more than 5 mins. Now I just played a session for more than 20 mins without issues. Appreciate it my man.

@@gus2112 It still works, the problem is not bound to the new NVIDIA drivers, but from the ASA update that re-downloads files after verification.. Although with the new drivers I must say that it is quite stable (I am with a 4080)

Oh man, You are a grand benefactor for so many fellow players in this game, it is unfathomable like the creators manage to bang out an update after update after update yet fail for months to fix a simple issue which proves the scourge of ASA for almost everyone with a 4000 series and then you come along and, after thousands upon thousands of instances of speculation and ineffective solution attempts you provide sth that actually works!! Amazing! I have now played with frame generation for more than an hour, no crash, thank you sooo much, such a great value, as the game at epic settings even for a 4090 proves to choppy and the animation is just not smooth enough without FG. Thanx a tonnne, again. :)

like + searching for so long time to play with fg had a 4060 now i play on ultra with nocloudss it work fine . tested wit "fly" over and over the isle thanks so much!!!

This worked for me! Update - It worked for a day then went back to crashing sadly Seems like the ultimate fix will need to be from both WC and Nvidia which is why it's taking so long

When they update or you reinstall, you have to copy in the dll again.

This is more of Nvidias problem as they have no solution for separating the UI from the scene being rendered, whereas AMD has tinkered with FSR 3 separating the UI with its frame gen and the ghosting is almost completely gone. Too bad they have their own issues with frame gen though. Until Nvidia provides a solution to separate the UI, it will happen in almost every game it's enabled on to varying degrees. Wild Card could also change the UI to not utilize FG, but with them focused on the console launches I doubt we'll see anything meaningful until the launch dust has settled.

So i can keep frame gen and the DLSS on Ultra Performance on with this method? I’m going crazy here, trying everything in my power not to disable the both of them because i get barely 50 FPS without them.

Doesn't seem to work for every system. I can't get rid of crashes, specially when playing Multiplayer, when 2 values are different for each other and they get streamed to each other both Partys will crash the howl server, some one made a community patch only working for none offical / none Nitrado servers it helped a lot but it can't fix the problem when there are more people than 4 on the server anymore. For Single player your Fix worked fin for the first time I launched ark and I played for 2 and a half hour straight without crashing even once but after I restarted the game it doesn't really seems to have worked at all. I might just wait until a offical patch comes out that fixes the crashing. Btw I don't know why but sometimes Textures get missing and they turn neon pink with a scrolling Leser shield effect put on those thing are there any fixes for those kind of bugs?

Did you install the driver and change the file? If you only do one, it leads to even more crashes!

hi, I used 4080 as well, but when I turn on Frame generation, the fps is lower and with high latency. When I turn off dlss, it is much better and smooth😅

Why an old version of DLSS ? Why not the same that the update ?

In my Experience this version worked best, other versions crashed pretty frequently :/

i tried every step but the crashing got even worst went from crashing every 1 hour to crashing every 15 minutes and i got an i713k , 32 gb ddr4 3200 mhz ram , 2tb ssd for windows and a 4tb sata ssd for gaming and an rtx 4080 and yet my pc cant run this game ?? wtf my friends with higher specs cant run this game too
