Yeah, Direbears, for sure. My favorite medium-sized tame. Deals good damage, can harvest all edibles, decently tanky, can shoot from its back, and higher-armored saddles are plentiful in drops. Great creature to keep on-hand in a cryopod for taming others out in the open.

Gasbags is the best bullet sponge in the game. On PVP everyone wants gasbags, because if you got a good breeding line then you'll be able to drain full bases with just one gasbags and a couple of sweet vegetable cakes!

Picking faves is tough because so many creatures are situational for me, but here goes: 3. Jerboa; played enough of Scorched Earth to find it useful and cute enough that I always have to have one now. 2. Basilosaurus; a mate boosted pair of these literally cured my fear of ocean caving. 1. Therizinosaur; who doesn't love the tickle chicken?

I'd probably have to say the Rock Drake is my favorite. I was on a server that didn't allow flyers, but Rock Drakes were available, and though they're a pain to get, they're great for getting around the map. Megatherium and Therizinosaurus are kinda tied for second due to their versatility in both harvesting and combat. Megatherium beats everything else for chitin and polymer harvesting, and a Theri is fantastic for gathering some of those rarer resources like flowers. Also great for wood if you have something else for the weight. And they can both hold their own in a fight against anything short of a Giga.

1 Deinonychus-i just love the way they look and all the things they do. 2 Griffin-one of the most efficient creatures whether your taming a flier or just zooming around the map. 3 Gigantopithecus-they are such efficient harvesters and the yeet has saved me on multiple occasions in the early game.

My two favorite creatures in ark have to be the equus and yutyrannus. 1. Equus Equus are insanely easy to tame to the point you can get a level 200+ at level 10. They can very easily take down most medium sized dinosaurs with their torpor attack and with a couple of friends you can even take down rexes for you to tame. 2. Yutyrannus Yutyrannus are incredibly good in all stages of the game and are very useful for boss fights. Since I build in the desert, carnos regularly attack me and it’s ability to turn carnos neutral is amazing for me.

1. Ice wyvern (trash but cool) 2. TAMED mana (a good balanced creature, top stat op) 3. Griffin (makes a hard rex grind easy! Get urself a male boss rex of a friend or connection and hover over like 10 females and effortlessly tranq them out to start breeding)

My fav creature is moschops, it can be tamed as soon as you join, it doesnt needs a saddle and it can harvest narcotics so fast allowing you to lvl up easly in pvp servers.

Tickle Chicken for more or less the same reason you like the bear, its a great harvester of many things you need early and mid-game, and it can punch well above its weight class in a fight. Hands down my favorite dino. When my friends and I decide to pickup Ark again for awhile and we have over the years (are now actually), thats one of the first things we look for day one.

My favorites are wyvern( all of them but I do fly the tropical 99% of the time), snow owl (because of it's healing capabilities and melee and weight), and the spinosaurus (good melee weight and can swim really fast) that all being said, I do love the dire bears, mantis, argy, doedicurus, and a lot of others... it's really hard picking just three. I don't have much experience with gas bags, but since watching this I may have to get more familiar with them. Always love your videos, hope you keep them coming. If you are ever on a ps4 on crystal isles, look for server 1375, Science TP would be nice to hang with a celebrity :)

1. Dire Bear. Always my first non utility dino. 2. Thylacoleo. Ideal for caving, tanky, climbs, and decent for fighting. 3. Baryonyx. Another decent caving dino, plus no oxygen stat, can stun nearly everything in the ocean, and awesome for fighting.

1. Rock Drake simply because I love the climb and glide and I think they're gorgeous 2. Deinonychus I enjoy the pack buff (and roar buff) the no fall damage the stacking bleed effect and the climb and glide and just the general appearance 3. Therizinosaur good all around for resources and fighting and is one of the more badass herbivores in my opinion These are my favorites for primitive plus

My top 3 are: 1.griffin because it’s one of the fastest creatures in ark, you can use a weapon while on its back, it’s swoop attack does a lot of damage, it can carry small creatures and teamates and it also has a passenger seat so it’s very good for pvp. (Snow owls are good too but they don’t have the swoop/dive attack) 2.Ankylosaur because it can farm almost anything (flint, stone, metal, berries, etc...), they are a pretty easy to tame and they do descent damage. 3.Gasbags because they have a LOT OF WEIGHT and they even have a weight reduction on metal (I think) and it’s very useful on abberation.

3-rock drake- really fun and very tanky with a decent saddle I just wish they were breedable. 2-gasbags- same as nooblets 1-crab- i love how they yeet things across the map and how you can just do so many things with one. they are able to do almost anything and are the best at a lot of things. also wish they were breedable.

I used to live in fear of the therizino. Until I started taming it. You can walk right into the space between its claws and body and it feels like a hug. Got a couple during the easter event that have amazing colors. It can harvest amazing amounts of wood, fiber and berries. And even though it doesn't get any weight reduction, it has an amazing amount of melee damage. So when you set out to build a new base it's your wood supply and bodyguard/base defense. I use a theri, argy, doedic and anky when going around my sp save and building new bases. I pick a direction and set off from my main base. When argy stam is at 30ish percent , I look for a base location. I love building and want to build EVERYWHERE. SP Mode. Own the map.

1. Thyla 2. Maewing 3. Griffin, the thyla due to its amazing diversity and raw power and a good bleed. Maewing, best travelling mount great weight with its speed aswell. The griffin, fun dive ability and very fast along with its huge damage strafes, 2 hits of 1.2k damage in 1 strafe is just amazing. I take out gigas with griffins to get them to respawn!

Tropical Crystal wyvern, thylocoleo at least I think that is how you spell it, and the baryonyx. Fast air flyer, fast land animal that doesn't really take fall damage and can climb trees, and fast water animal with 2 attacks.

Hold up! I was sitting here thinking about my favorite non-harvester tame, excluded the direbear because it's mostly used for harvesting and you added the frikin dire bear? It's a harvester. If I really exclude all harvesters my top 3 is: 1. Baryonyx : good in caves, fast in land and water, doesn't aggro leeches, highest rate leech blood harvester after the moschops, bayblade 2. Dodo: looks pretty in multiple vivid colors, food dispenser, chirping ASMR 3: Lymantria: Decorative herbivore
