Just so you know they made it so you look at the edge of the structure that you want it to snap to when building. It really makes building so much more intuitive and easy to do. Then with all the new structure variants and snap points it make it much more like S+ used to be. They actually hired the person that made S+ to redesign building!

The giant mutated drago,fly thing is a rhyniognatha. They spawn in the swampy areas south and east of the the redwoods. To get one you have to first kill one (either gender amd lvl doesnt matter) to get it's pheramones. Then you inject those into a sacrificial dino, bronto is recommended, and find a female rhynio who you then take down to ~10% health and present her the sacrifice. She will do a stinging animation and inject it with eggs. I saw my first rhynio yesterday when hunting for an otter friend and it was awesome but terrifying and took forever to take down. They also were recently nerfed, still cool but were waaaaaaaay more epic like a month ago. Good luck and happy hunting!

My opinion.. you should've added a 1/2 wall higher on the 1st floor. Always found 1 wall high, even now, was a bit too short/low

You may want to download the mod Custom Dino Levels, since The Island is still running on that horrible coded in bias to prefer spawning in lower level critters. Custom Dino Levels just makes everything have an equal chance to be each level, makes it easier to get good tames! Plus you can edit the ini to be biased to higher levels too if you want

I haven't played Ascended yet, but in Evolved the Stone Railing had the option of being half walls.
