If you were a troll or made lots of pranks to deliberately ruin someone's else's experience they would only let you on servers with people who troll as well. It would make it so that if you weren't actually ruining someone by raiding their base it would stay with you unless you tried to stop or learned your lesson.

It takes you forever just to create a small safe space hidden in the woods and idk about you but I have other things to do irl so I can’t just play non-stop. You can stay hidden for a while but eventually just lose all your progress while you are offline. Real “fun” game there.

I tried PvP, both official and unofficial. Neither ended well, both left me bitterly depressed and somewhat angry as I was destroyed before I could even manage to really accomplish anything. The only way I can enjoy Ark is PvE, or solo world. And since the unofficial cluster I played on shut down due to loss of interest, I'm 100% solo.

yes. You can do absolutely everything in single player that you can in multiplayer... technically... some things are much more difficult, but with a gathering and taming multiplier to suit your individual needs, it's significantly less grindy and nearly just as much fun. Depends what you play the game for really. It's my second most played game of all time, and i mostly just run around collecting dinosaurs and then make them fight the wild dinosaurs... rinse and repeat... over 1000 hours... ooh, and exploration, of course.

One thing I miss , but like toothache, just before you get raided, you will either get hacked and disconnect, or the enemies flood your server making defence and rejoining impossible
