My God, I love this department. I did my 20 years in Georgia and got out right after all the wokeness started, but this is so cool. Dirtbag gets pitted and in custody at the 7:35 mark surrounded by like 20 cars; two minutes later, traffic is already flowing. I love it. These guys are awesome. Maybe some of the larger towns that lefty maggots all cluster in like cockroach hives release, but the vast amount of counties are conservative law and order. Living in the state above Arkansas-Missouri-it was like that. St. Louis was all lefty maggots with K.C. not quite as bad, but the rest of the state was lock em up and through away the key. 9 supermax prisons, 26 total prisons. St. Louis prosecutor is getting the boot this week for dereliction of duty, not following established laws. I'm now in Florida, our Governor slow-walked a state prosecutor off the job 3-4 months ago.

PITs are rarely employed; putting the target car out of control is considered more dangerous to the innocent, and thus is something of a last resort. That said, a well-executed PIT is a very effective mechanism, and this particular chap seems to be a master of his art.

You should automatically draw a mandatory minimum of ten years, on TOP of any other charges, for racing away with ANYONE else in the car...and 15 years mandatory minimum IF any passengers are minors! You have to be a real scumbag to do this in the first place, but to do it with your kids in the car... Trooper Byrd is really young to be so accomplished and such a legend. I wish him the best.

The parents should never be allowed to have a child ever again after their disregard for the children's safety traveling at those crazy speeds. Speed limits are there for a reason and that's safety on the roads not just for the driver but for every motorist using the same road. Chemical castration should be part of a judges sentencing power.
