And it's an 05/06 so it has a LM series engine so right off it's near 400 horses. A cam and tune on that and she'll hit 800 horses. Many Many times friends have came into camp from a beer run with the police lost in the woods. We could see them often stuck or with busted oil pans getting towed back to the station. After a while they would not even chase. Got boring. Not even drifting around the gas pumps would get them to give chase after turning on the back roads. They never did arrest anyone ever. That four wheeler raises the center of gravity of the truck. Scary watching him. Going off road was smart, but not too smart. License plates exist for a reason. He'll have to destroy the truck and then put together an air tight alibi. It's easier to just drive sensibly, obey the speed limit and don't get into trouble than to go to these extremes.

A 4 wheeler can add weight and make it top heavy, but if it's strapped down, which it looks like it was, it's never going to be heavy enough to tip a truck over. The 4 wheeler would likely just snap the straps and then roll/tumble out before the truck would. This dude probably just got done riding where he lost the cops at. He was just slightly thrown off on where he was at cause it was dark and he only the knew the place in daylight.

I thought the truck was stolen? This was a good video
@sunnidavis1952 жыл бұрын
@@JarofMayonaise i assure you that dude knew those roads & the areas off-road better than most of us know our reflections in the mirror. I've lived in this area my entire life and though it probably doesn't look it, most of the roads they were on are probably the 2nd most highly travelled routes, the interstate being the most travelled, to get from the point where the pursuit started out to any of the next five or six major towns so anyone who has been here for any significant length of time and commutes daily would almost certainly know those roads very well. The dude in this instance had a major advantage in the fact that he also has some pretty decent knowledge of how to take curves at high speeds as well as knowing how to maintain control of his truck while speeding over rough, uneven terrain.
@ProfessorDisaray2 жыл бұрын
Well when you know your terrain better than the cops you will beat them every time. Tpr. Martin needs to go back to school about how to correctly pit a vehicle. Rule 1: Never brake when turning into a pit maneuver, because you will miss all the time as the other vehicle is speeding away. Dah!!
@dznmodsparrish2 жыл бұрын
PIT in real life and PIT in GTA 5 is different jr. He had to brake because the road was too tight and the truck pulled in front of him. You have to be able to position the car properly to perform the PIT, i did go through EVOC with ambulance and with police car EVOC and Pursuit training.

The SUV cruiser appeared to have a mechanical issue and the Charger had to pass him/her to accelerate to catch back up the suspect. Why was there not additional units called to join the pursuit at that point? There was always a saying, “You might be able to outrun the cruiser, but you can never outrun Motorola”. So, what happened here?
@TravisTrittFan2 жыл бұрын
In pursuits the higher authority in the area will take the lead because of jurisdiction and higher training. In this case the SUV was city police, the car was a Trooper so when the opportunity opened up, they take the lead and usually the Troopers are much more highly trained in vehicle pursuits and usually one of the few agencies with officerscertified to PIT. To answer your other question, the Cabot officer was out of his jurisdiction and it was unlikely Cabot would dedicate additional officers to the chase after it left city limits. They remained as backup to assist the Trooper so he wouldnt be left alone. Jacksonville isn't going to send out of their jurisdiction to assist until it actually reaches their city limits. That leaves the County Sheriff. Pretty big county so I doubt there was a unit close enough to get there by the time this pursuit ended and then the State Troopers, I've seen plenty of times when the nearest trooper is a 30-45 minute drive away especially when you're talking about being out in the boonies like this was.
@NaturalStateTransparency2 жыл бұрын
What @Travis Tritt Fan said. In the video, the trooper radios Troop A to ask Cabot if they want them to take over. Moments later, the SUV moves over.
