I had two experiences and both were different. The first time, I was smoking in the car and got pulled over like an hour later. Everything was fine til they asked me (the passenger) for my ID, and I said no. They said well it smells like weed so now I need it. I was kinda being rude so they were rude back. Searched the car. The second time my friend and I were smoking and got pulled over, threw the blunt somewhere in the back seat panicking, weed all over the floorboard, the trooper leans on the door and sticks his head in with the biggest smile just asking us to slow down and lets us go. Just being young and dumb and got lucky both times.

Sheesh, I tend to drive very close and even on the white line--oops. But I am not a drug mule, nor drink alcohol, no longer OVER-speed. 2-4 miles over at most. So not sure what the reason for the stop, but I LOVE that they get the drugs off the roads. I am also one who totally disagrees about legalizing anything in drugs. A dog sniff is a search, Rodriguez v. Whenever you’re driving ANY car with an out of state license plate, just know that any cop behind you will run that tag and if you commit ANY traffic violation, no matter how minor it will be a reason to pull you over real quick so better have all your ducks in a row.
