Arkansas and Ole Miss played in game 6 of bracket play in the 2022 College World Series. It is still double elimination, so the Razorbacks (2-1) needed a win to force a winner take all game 7, which would be at 4PM EST on Thursday 6/23/22. An Ole Miss (2-0) win would send them to the College World Series Finals against Oklahoma.

I also really love how you show every pitch for critical or crazy at bats in quick succession like you did for the bottom of the 9th. Talk about clutch, Zack Morris comes out of the pen with bases loaded after our 2 best closers lost control, then shuts down one of the hottest batting teams after getting lit up by them in game 8. So happy that he got a chance to redeem himself, and boy did he ever. It’s only right that this series goes to a win or go home rubber match. Ole Miss is a great team and I have a lot of respect for their talent. Can’t wait for tomorrow, WPS

That was a hell of a play from Jace in left, he drops that and the season is over. I had a course with him last fall, really great guy. And to come in as a fielder in place of Zack for the 9th and make the clutchest out of Omaha so far? Extremely impressive. Only fitting that he got to turn around and end the game shortly there after. Small fun fact, Jace and his brother played baseball together in college last year, the school? Oklahoma. Edit: Apparently it means the team's number 1 pitcher, or an elite pitcher on their team. So are there rules that state that you can't use the same pitcher for a certain amount of time?

just remember, if OU doesn't put it away in two then they get their opponents ace vs their 3rd guy in a winner take all game. You still want to be in OU's situation, but the pressure swings very fast

I don’t really watch college baseball but it looked to me like the tag at second touched the runners hand before he made it to the base. Only reason I say that is because his hand moved down right after the short stops glove was over it

when a play is that close it usually favors the call that was made on the field the evidence to overturn has to be irrefutable

The commentators were arguing about that. One was persistent that it didn't touch. I personally lean in the direction that they touched, for the same reasons you state, but I can't say it's definitive.
