Arknights is the opposite of a comfy anime. It's really dark and depressing, one of the characters literally goes into shell shock in an episode. It's not quite a horror genre anime but it is a psychological drama.

Trust me when I say the beginning story of Arknights is regarded as one of Arknights’ weakest stories, but after you reach a bit further, it’s all uphill from there, I’m telling you. I hate Mountain because he kept bombing my Reed Alter rerun pulls. 4 of him, as well as a handful of other off-banners before finally getting my girl. Also hes just worse than Specter(Guard) imo.
