Well there are two answers for this: -a specific someone seems to be immune to oripathy (to an extent), that someone being Amiya (her oripathy progression is at FREAKING 19% yet the only sign we see is her wrist and she shows no pain when moving around, she can run, do all sorts of acrobatics, and doesn't really look like she's feeling any pain from inner crystals) -there are originium units to do cool arts so ppl won't get rock cancer :D

Well, for a properly trained caster in Terra, an arts unit is safe and efficient, and you won't get sick by using these processed originium products to do anything. Some riches and nobles even put special treated originium crystals in their house for decoration and nothing goes wrong for them.

For some time I have always been comparing Originium arts and the Semblance from RWBY. But then after further research and reading about it the more I can give a difference and similarities between them. While both Originium arts and Semblence varies from user to users. The latter can be activated by a person themselves without the use of any device, while the former can be only used when a casting unit is present or unless the user is infected.

Is more comparable to Dust, if Dust gave you super rock cancer by mishandling it. Ruby and Weiss would be turbo dead after their first meeting for example.

While you are on the subject, this brings to mind another major difference. I am not as familiar with RWBY lore as I used to, but last I checked firearms in Remnant utilise Dust as the propellant, and that the use of one's Semblance to achieve the same purpose is very rare at best, if not completely absent. Besides, considering how impractical such a method is (I know that Semblances are used as a form of energy shield against harmful attacks, and one can lose that vital defence at best if it is depleted), I cannot imagine anyone willingly exerting that energy constantly just to shoot a few times. In AK, it is the opposite. As said here, using Originium Arts is necessary to make gun-type Arts effective. On the other hand, use of Originium as a propellant for snall-arms at least seems largely unknown at best. Case in point, when some of Rainbow Six found their way into Terra, they are unable to use AK's guns due to being Artless (that, and risking bringing down their Vatican on them), and none of Rhodes Island could properly understand how their weapons work. A compromise was reached by reverse-engineering their weapons to use Originum rather than their usual chemicals, but they are noted to be far less effective in-universe.

Question : different individual seems to have different arts and it's application, for examples race specific arts (dracos) and some seems to have an attunement to a specific kind of arts (lightning, fire, etc.). Yeah there's basic arts, but Any kind of explanation for that? P.s. Not gonna lie arts in AK kinda similar in those manga where magic bacame weaker after a Century bla bla bla lol

As it was explained it depends on the neural activity of the users for example when you're fighting you aren't thinking the same as you would when trying to get a machine to work so even individuals with specific arts can operate originium powered machines.

I don't think you can say that Arts isn't magic. It's kinda iffy, as the magic VS science debates usually are. But I think probably the biggest reason why you can't call it "not magic" is because stimulating something with your mind alone would probably be considered magic. Staff-like stuff I can still buy that it's not magic, but originium being able to read your thoughts? A bit too much of a stretch to say that it's clearly not magic. (my point isn't that it's magic. My point is that it's not very clear)

Within the game itself Arts and Magic are different things though. Magic doesn't typically use originium and isn't very understood or researched. But Magic does exist in the game and is a separate practice from Arts

Well mandragora isn't strong in a wider perspective, she soloed bagpipe and horn but they were exhausted by endless skirmishs already, horn didn't have much ammo left and they still almost killed her. In the next chapter Manfred basically rekt her without a sweat while he put a lot of preparation and effort and still failed to defeat amiya.
