Nearl is such a weird character. The first time I played the game, I couldn't shake the distinct impression that I was supposed to already know her from somewhere. Like, she's such a huge presence. She's clearly a 'Hero' figure even amongst Rhodes Island, but you don't really get any introduction to her or recruitment scene. She's just a part of Rhodes Island from before you woke back up. (but not from so far back that she knows you from when you were active prior) Maybe because I first started playing in the middle of the Near Light event where she's very obviously the focus of the whole event. I dunno, I guess i'm just saying that Nearl has enormous Main Character Energy but it doesn't explain who she even is until way WAY later.

I'd take a wild guess and the reason for that is that Nearl is pretty much built like "The Paladin"/"Knight in Shining Armor" trope, down to her abilities too. In most fantasy settings, or medieval shows you'll always find a "larger than life", "holier than thou", "right makes might" type of character. A sort of perfect hybrid between idealism and cynicism, this type of character is good and believes in good, but they won't stand around helpless at the idea of using force.

I liked this ep but def think it fell below EP 1 in terms of quality. Very clear that EP 3 was this episodes main goal, so I don't mind it as much. We're gonna see a good fight next ep and hopefully that tops off the Chernobog arc, 4-8 to cover lungmen and chapters 2 through 3.

Maybe this is on a very tight budget. But the director managed to emphasize the animation on the important parts. The fight scenes are also slow-paced which justified the tight budget.

I mean he was an annoying piece of shit so it's understandable that very few people like him. In addition, like most Reunion members, Mephisto is really more bark than bite. He presents himself as a chess master but every time goes against an actual chess master (Doctor) he losses and throws a tantrum. I think the reason he survived for as long as he did is that Faust is babysitting him.

There's really no difference if you ask me. If you base it, on how her physical examinations had gone, all had an Excellent rating(including her Arts Assimilation), meaning she's basically in her prime state. Also, in her Radiant Knight form, only her Combat Skill had risen to Outstanding rating, since she's using her swordlance.

they have, but on that case were Faust's Arts, his shot was so strong that even Nearl defending it, she pratically broken her arm. on Arknights's World gunpowder doesnt exists, they use an mineral called originum as source of energy and military equipments as explosives and ammo ,on this case they are so expensive, so there pratically no firearm on arknights world, and the originals exist only in Laterano (the Sankta's City aka angels's city), and their ammo are generated by the Sankta's arts. So about the other firearms, that we see on that drone as example is a fake copy of an Laterano's gun, and they use origunum-based material as ammo
