I am actually curious. Blaze is often used for wallhacking so she can use her damage in 2 lanes. Ulpianus S1 can also do that, but sacrifices his block and hp. How would Ulpianus S1 stack up against Blaze S1 and Blaze S2? Edit: I am not implying that Blaze S1 has range extension, but both of their S1 are basically short cycle powerstrikes.

i say Hoederer is much different. Ulpianus just stems and does it different from him. If anyone should be compared with Hoederer, it's Gavial alter. Gavial alter is for Hoederer Ulpianus is for Blaze

If I can befriend someone who has them on support, sure. Unfortunately, finding a Ray with module is rare, and Penance seems nearly impossible. I have refreshed support countless times, and I came across literally ZERO Penance with Y module.

Ulpianus being better is a no brainer, iirc he hits roughly twice as hard without even adding AH and lacks a module still. Big W there. They'd both need an external source of healing in almost all content, but Ulpianus source of healing is a 2nd laneholder instead of a medic. That is a big W. In the meantime Blaze has been powercrept so many times that we really don't need Ulpianus to kick her tombstone even more. Seriously Ulpianus + Gladiia can afk duo Steamknight boss stage. Ulpianus can also afk duo the stage at 3:19, by only having an undeployed Andreana in the squad. Yeah he is pretty nuts.

But, yeah, HG seems to be going bigger and bigger each banner, instead of each anniversary, I am worried since they can only do this so much until they have to beef up the enemies to the stratosphere, killing every unit before year 3. But let me have trust in HG, maybe they'll go to releasing Supporters and Vanguards since there's been a drought of them

A bit weird comparison. First of all they're both different subclasses, secondly Ulpianus is still without a module, and finally, a showcase of random maps and enemies Although don't get me wrong, it's still a great video!

Comparasion were made because 2 or more operators share atleast 1 same thing. In this case, both of them, are -in a subclass where they attack based on their block count -quite tanky, with kind of self-sustain ability -their S2 is a laneholding skills Comparasion don't really need to be fully apple to apple. For Module, it doesn't really matter, since... how to say it. Like, since Blaze do have a Module, is it means you should stick with using her? No? Right? We'd like to see the newer laneholder, & Ulpian S2 is a lanehold skill. So, why not making a comparasion? For me, it's not about who us better, it's about to see how the newest operators works differently from the older operators. Who is better at certain situation/predicament

I want to see who'd be swarmed faster and who would deal with mass of enemies better. Plus in some situations it wasn't even laneholding, it was boss killing, which, again, doesn't even make sense, because both of those skills are laneholding skills, not boss killing skills (I mean, okay, you can kill bosses with such skills usually but at least give them a proper support or whatever) 2) "quite tanky, with kind of self-sustain ability" - yeah, so again, why with Saria behind them, then? Also, module makes a HUGE difference. Blaze would die without a module much faster in all of those situations, while Ulpianus would still be alive. "For me, it's not about who us better" --- "Who is better at certain situation/predicament", so after all it is a situation about who is better. After all that's the definition of comparision. Someone can say "But it's a comparision to show how broken nowadays Operators are!" - It was obvious already from the few patches ago that the powercreeping went really really hard. Right now this video doesn't show anything specific. It's a showcase between everything and nothing at once. There you kill some bosses, there you "lanehold" with a support, there you are put in some random situations. Again, I'm NOT hating it, just giving a proper criticism that this showcase is all random. If he wanted to make it all consistent, they he should just divide it into separate categories, one by one but it's not. First you have arts boss, then you have 2 physical bosses, then you have arts boss again. Some bosses are with minions, some are without minions. Then you have few situation with Saria behind (for a "lane holder"). After that there is situation when the skill isn't charged yet and cannot be charged because of the corosion damage. - This makes the least sense. When I see corrosion damage, I just take a proper medic or better damage with longer range so I can kill the enemies faster without me getting corroded. If he wanted to show how they compare without a loaded skill, then he should just start video with putting them without loaded skill. Simple as that. Why put them in the situation with some random necrosis damage? Or, at least the author could record more of such situation, not just a single random one.
