Part of why Ashlock feels so great to use is because her combination of attack range and deployment area is so niche that it feels like the devs often forget it's a viable option. This allows you to deploy her in places that make it trivial to attack enemies who clearly aren't meant to be reachable with any ease, if at all -- and often with impunity. As a result, you feel smart -- Ashlock makes you feel like you've found an exploit and cheated the devs themselves, even if it would have been more "effective" to simply slap down a Chalter somewhere. I love that.

I already imagine my strategy deployment. Imagine, Horn, Firewhistle and Ashlock at the back returning volley while mainly defenders blocking loads of enemies. This is why I love AK, feels like actual military strategies Lol

The moment i realised the power of fortress is when i was struggling with positioning my meteorite in any useful way for a challenge. If only i could dump her on the freakin floor, everything would work! That was of ex 4. Then i tried many things and found Horn. She was just like meteorite but with different deployment spots! So on that day i blocked both sides of right box with tanks and told Horn to fire at will at the enemy spawn. Ever since that day when my gunners cant reach some annoying dude, it so happens that a Fortress Defender can.

Being ashlockless was an awful experience, thankfully i got her on Ling's banner and she already helped me clear more IS2 stages than i can count. Very fun operator to use.

I like Ashlock's design even though I don't have her and admit i wouldn't use her normally, however I'm going to spend big time on Horn's banner, love her design, skills and the fact that she can use a sword in S2

this is by far why i also why i like ashlock, she can deals damage from faraway where guards dont usually can do or even no tiles for range operator. But clearly thats not the main reason i pull for her, when i trying to pulls for justyna (forgot her op name lol) i didnt get her but ashlock which is i still consider a worth it pulls, thinking im having fun playing with it, and oh boi it was the most fun i ever use ashlock rather than just using helidrop silverdaddy or surtr it, hell im bored using chalter. Arknights are have various operator, various stage, and lastly the enemy itself, thus making it have multiple ways u can complete the stages, ashlock is one way for me to have fun and my preference way to play ak, hopefully getting horn in future.

Also, her S2 disabling her block means you can use her to stall an enemy until you set up your backline, then use her S2 to let them pass and start DPSing

I actually think ashlock is great in IS2. Several defender books higly boost her damage, and even without those she's one of the 5* alternatives to take down the Phantom troupe witches that spin around

Ashlock is the reason I have Pot2 Fartooth. I pulled way to much but got so much fun out of one 5* character that I never got from any 6* operator since Magallan and Aak. Love her and treasure her, Horn maybe coming to global but ashlock will stay in my heart forever.

Idk, i m3 her s1. She can reach 2k attack quite easily. While s2 definitely has better DPS output, 3 things i consider to m3 s1. 1. Higher uptime when the skill active, s2 only has 10s. 2. I expect her to go against high end enemies rather higher ASPD with no damage, i choose able to damage no matter how small it is. Buffing s2 with skalter is easy, but buffing s1 ASPD with Aak is also a thing. I mean she won't die from Aak's skill. 3. She can block while it is active. Imagine 2k shield bash to the face.

I've been playing for a few months now, and when I got her I thought she is really interesting - I really like the idea of having a bunch of different developed operators so I don't have to stick to a few "meta" operators to clear every level. But before I developed her to the best of my abilities, I received Horn(y). But, have you seen what happens when you have both Ashlock and Horn bombarding the same place? It's a wonderful introduction to the world of modern warfare. Maybe not the most optimal, and quite situational, but it's fun as all hell.

I like doing this, and pairing it with an AoE sniper for extra boom, because seeing three missiles go flying off at one enemy is so satisfying

Actually not too interested in Fiametta but Kazemaru is cute... but I'll be rolling on Specalter (for Skalter) so I don't need her

Considering the Ling banner result (It isn't good), I truly regret for not go all out on Ashlock banner to max pot her. Only when her banner already end I realized how fun she is. Wish the game will rerun her banner one day

Everyone judge me because they say I build Ashlock because of her E2 art. Sadly, they don't know that I need her skill to kill enemies from a very very long range just like in 7-16 and M8-8. Not just she has very long range AoE atk but, she can hit enemies from safe distance. So, I don't need to worry about she will die or something.

horn and ashlock are part of my artileryknights with fortress defenders, artilery snipers and besigers the only downfall for this team is dp cost, but hey that is bagpipe, saileach myrtle work

It'd be better to have concrete comparisons to demonstrate the impact of her masteries and other videos describing the impact of mastery improvements. 1 second doesnt sound much till one realizes they attack as fast as AA snipers which is ludicrous for her large attack stat, range, splash and cooldown.

I missed her by starting in Sept. but I do enjoy Horn a great deal, so I would definitely use Ashlock whenever she shows up. Having literal artillery feels broken.
