My favorite part of Angron's story with the Ark was that when the Choral engine went off his butcher's nails deactivated for a moment. So we have this bit of inner third person narrative of Angron being free from the pain for just a few seconds.

Just to point out: that shield the Lion used is the EMPEROR'S shield which is just as OP as his sword. Lion was also pretty banged up from the fight. I mean it's still damn Angron and the Lion is still not THE Angel. All in all, great series, everyone wins where it counts, no one gets memed on too hard, not even Abaddon, which is kind of nice. Best part was still Angron pretty much smacking a planet in two and unleashing a tidalwave of ultra violence thoughout the sector. He even received for the first time ever a moment of peace, which was pure bliss, he was happy and he knew one day he'll know the peace of death. Basically, Khorne gave him this blessing as a pat on the back which is kind of wholesome from the Slaughter God which confirmed finally that Angron is a good boy.

The whole fight between the Lion and Angron is something straight out of DBZ. The two fall off a massive cathedral while still fighting and Angron throws not one but two Landraiders at the Lion and more!

Angron vs Lion was very onesided as expected, master strategist vs blind berserker. Lion Manipulated Angron the whole way through. and every time he evaded and blocked angrons attacks he became even more blind to rage as his nails started to pound harder the longer it took him to kill him. In the end Angron was more predictable than a ball rolling downhill.

No one would have a bigger impact on the setting aside from Lion for various reasons. Dorn would definitely be a benefit, but he needs time and resources to set up his defences and get things moving. The Lion would give both Guilliman and future Primarchs more breathing room to get their shit together as the Lion takes the strongest foes and holds them off. Guilliman is better off behind a desk than in the middle of a battle. The Lion is right at home in the middle of a battle leading his forces. Dorn is a Defender, not a Crusader, and the Imperium needs to reclaim their old territory before it can be fortified.
