Just installed this on my wife's 48 Special. Instructions were rubbish and the three holes for the elbow didn't line up properly. I expected more from Arlen Ness to be honest. I installed a Screaming Eagle heavy breather on my Glide a few months ago and the build quality was different league.

@@goodlife6942 there is what looks like a bolt should be present on the top on mine too.I’ve since upgraded to a hammer performance 1275 kit and the 1200 heads have the same look.

@@goodlife6942 it’s the throttle body that has the empty hole now but it’s securely mounted.

i just did this exact same install today on my 08 Sporty 883. love it. it has a really nice sound, and you can absolutely hear it sucking in air. I just started my autotune today. so far so good. these last two upgrades to finish the stage one really make it feel like a different bike. good luck with your bike and ride safe bro!

I completely agree! I had a hard time when auto tuning... it wouldn’t learn the low rpm values. Bike at lauch would stutter unless i gas it... I uploaded the map to V&h via fp3 app and called them...next time i had a optimized map that works ohh so smooth! Thabks for stopping by

I just picked one up and the V&H fuelpak. How was the install? I always feel like my forty-eight sounds like a big lawnmower LOL Shouldn't have to modify it with as expensive as they are but...that's HD for ya!

Really easy to install... just make sure you use loctie on all bolts.
