Why in the world did you do all that work to get a single arm bar? You may need to do the chicken wing to set-up for tilts but you can simply break the elbow and slide the arm into the armbar as you break it down. You can also throw double arm bars in from behind to and run it around his head to a pin. I guess whatever works for you.

TheJFRALEY that wasn’t that much work honestly he just dragged it , it isn’t that much work and your right but sometimes your not gonna always get it like that... driving the one on one bar and then coming out the side like that has always worked for me

Never back IMO, no. In self defense you can't assume you're in a fair fight. With this move you facing down and locked up with your opponent. Easy prey to get kicked in the back of the head, or put in a rear naked choke. Probably the best grappling position for self defense is knee on belly. Then you can ground and pound, or run depending on the situation.
