All I can say is this workout was a lot of fun and it’s great to lift with Mike, Lance Keys and my brother all at the same time. I’m still super pumped for the day Mike comes up to ST. Also I’m not too proud to say it Mike kicked my ass. The workout wasn’t brutal. It was simple but when it came to loading up the weights Mike kicked my ass plain and simple. However he made me realize I’m capable of doing more then what I’m currently doing! You guys will not believe the footage I captured of Mike at his home. I guarantee you have never seen Mike O’Hearn like this before.

I enjoy your videos even though you preach you're natural... But really, that doesnt matter, what matters is the inspiration you give people, to get up and do something with their lives, not just in the gym. Youre always good to the fans, willing to help, greet, take photos... A true representative of fitness/bodybuilding/powerlifting community.

Mike O'Hearn : :) You're welcome Mike!
@marlon11716 жыл бұрын
Mike O'Hearn : That being said about this topic, I think of bill kazmaier whom I was always a big fan of. Bill K openly spoke about using steroids in his competitive years but very few seem to know or remember that he played football in his teens and he weighed 275 lbs without ever having stepped into a gym. I believe the very first time Bill K tried the bench press, he was able to press either 350 or 400 lbs!! With 6 months of lifting, I believe he was beginning to bench 500 lbs raw!! I think after that he knew he had a gift and he never looked back. Obviously Mike you had the added benefit of having all the correct proportion and bone structure to be a successful bodybuilder and the strength to be just as successful powerlifter.
@marlon11716 жыл бұрын
Mike O'Hearn : The reason I said all this is because there's too much hate going on against peoples who are and look successful. Fuck I never understood that! Particularly in sports but it applies to everything and it just never ceases to baffle me. Lee priest was one of the very few who pretty much said what I did when your name came up in a question about you being on drugs or not. Lee priest simply said, why should it affect anyone what Mike ohearn does or doesn't do with his life..... Live and let live and let the hating for peoples who hate themselves.
@marlon11716 жыл бұрын
Mike O'Hearn : Correction about Bill kazmaier: He weighted 275 lbs as a teen who played football and even before ever using steroids he bench either 350 to 400 lbs the first time he ever walked into a gym. 6 months later still drug free, he was benching 500 lbs. He began training full time for his strongman career shorty after realizing he had an amazing natural gift for strength.

Because EMG studies show reverse grip activates the pec minor more than an incline press. It also places more overall stress on the triceps, just less on the pec major/anterior delts.
