The first time i played this DLC... i ran up through the town, just kind of walking looking at the ruined area, thinking someone was going to jump out, but no it was an abandoned town... i walked up to the church and almost had an IRL fucking heart attack, it shook me so bad i had to take a short break to catch my breath. It absolutely conveyed its message 100% clear as day. A GREAT dlc for Arma 3. For the story telling alone.

Yeah, they keep referencing to the original campaign story, like Nikos, the supply mission guy and militia leader, who became now the new president. It is a nice touch. Didn't really played all of it yet, but hopefully, we can find out what happened to Kerry

when I played the campaign, I didn't even realized it until he mentioned him dying to a landmine on stratis, because you actually see him die in the first campaign. Its a really cool touch.

This DLC is more relevant than ever, but.. it was always relevant. Ever since WW1. However, people always forget that there hasn't been a single year of peace of centuries. Wars that go ignored will continue and often out of the public eye (like war in Donbass and the countless wars in Africa). People don't care when it's not them getting shot at or blown up by a mine, but if we never learn to care then war will come to us eventually.

It’s so sad about Staff Sergeant Adams - Boot Camp Training - and the first two missions of the Survive, Adapt, Win Campaign from A3 - it’s a shame to see and brings a tear to my eye

Those flashbacks could be used for a whole lot of great things in custom missions, if people can figure out how to do em' themselves. I'm thinking a Halo 3 ODST sort of thing, where there's an open area to explore and you investigate what happened to... the rest of your squad, maybe, or some other unit that had come through the AO before you.

I do believe that putting those flashbacks on a mission is possible. The Codename Minotaur mod has something similar where when you get ambushed by FIA APCs and a tank the game goes into a flashback where you play as one of the FIA troops, stealing the APCs and tank from one of the AFF bases.

Well yes and no, first, it's not an official mission and it's from the workshop (tho the quality is really high) and second, the "flashback" of stealing the APCs was literally a different mission. These flashback's are much smaller but in the same mission.

2 years late to the party... but yes... its the very same Adams from the Campaign... he died to a landmine, which caused his brother to go searching for him, he heard about an intense firefight at a church and went to go see... and died to a landmine as well. This DLC is an excellent story that is well written, but also hammers home that war is not just fought by the soldiers... there are real civilian casualties who wanted nothing to do with the war or the fighting. There is nothing Humane about war, and anyone who talks about waging a "humane war" isnt fighting in it.

I got stuck on this mission cause some guerrillas ran of, I don't know how to fix it, tried everything but nothing seems to work. Did this happen to anyone else?

LOL! Pretty sure it happens with most of people. While I was playing, the last guerilla guy just fled to the forest and started shooting while laying low. It was frustrating as I had no clue where he was shooting. When I found out, I sat in my APC and ran that m'fker over!

I think it was better to make this game like it was in Serbia, because NATO bombed Serbia (former Yugoslavia), not Greece that is part of NATO. Greece people are our orthodox brothers and I love them but I don't like that they are part of that North Atlantic Terorrist Organisation. We still have a lot of landmines from them. NATO attacked us without any permission of UN or anybody else, because they (US) deciding what they will do and they don't ask anybody for agreement. It's interesting when that guy in the game says: Well, this was back when NATO was still "keeping the peace". That means they never keep the peace and they still make wars all around the world, there are many examples for that (Vietnam, Panama, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Lybia, Ukraine, Syria). America is the main "player" of NATO and they have total control of NATO. They were always like a "world cop" who was destroying peaceful countries and lives of people who are not guilty for anything. Now they are trying to introduce Russia like a country who is the enemy of the whole world, because they are preparing for the biggest war ever but they are still afraid to attack Russia because they are aware what kind of weapons Russia can use against them. It's not a small poor country like they ussualy attack, it's the biggest country with the strongest army in the world, that's the problem.

i have nothing to tell about the 'quality', but the 'mini campaign' is too short for the price of the DLC, i have completed it in just about 4-5h of gameplay.. the what is shown in the trailer is misleading, in no where you deal with 'geneva convention' laws as presented in the trailer.. never i have encountered any 'high value targets' neither any realistic 'constraints' ; its basically a 'story line' you follow where you have to complete mini-missions.. and thats it.
