+MoonEyes2k the Tirpitz as a size comparison is longer then NC in game and just as long as Iowa while a tad shorter than Montana and knowing the Germans they go all out with stuff the H39 would be slightly longer than the Montana H41 longer than the Montana H42 longer than the Montana H43 in my opinion might be the tier X with 17in guns or H42 because the H41 would be too under powered in gun fire against Yamato but with the reload on the German BBs I might say they will be the strongest BBs in game with reload and HP

It was really bad before they buffed rear turret traverse, now its one of my favorites. angle just enough to fire all your turrets, then bow on to bounce return fire.

Too bad as the NC makes up for the frustration that is the Colorado. It has speed, it has range and it has armor, as long as you show the bow to the enemy. As soon as you get flanked, it will hurt, a lot. Side armor is bad. Had a match yesterday in my NoCal where i ambushed an enemy Nocal and put all three turrets into its side from about 15km. It lost over 20k HP in that salvo. Would have been more, but it was dead after that.

WG wants you brawling at point blank range, like in WoT. So dispersion is absolutely awful on BBs at anything beyond 15 km at this tier. But even under that distance, shots can just completely derp if RNG tells them to. I find it the most frustrating thing about the whole game. WG defends it in the name of "random results" which create "gameplay diversity." I think they need to scale dispersion. Sure, long-range dispersion makes sense; sniping is boring and a waste of time. But as the distance closes, the dispersion effect should scale down proportionally.

I agree with you there. but WG wont do anything we suggest, they would do something else to try and get the same effect, even if it breaks something else. The problem that I see that they want to make this game a E-sport. So when that happens they want to balance every ship equally, as much as possible. like the CV's for a good example. they all shoot the same now, The castrated Cleveland, those that played the Beta know what WG did to the Cleveland and all USA Ships guns. They lob shells like morders instead of shooting straight and then dip down over distances. The point its when they start configure the game for E-sports Historical Accuracy get thrown aside along with the fun.

You DO realize that North Carolina's sister ship, the USS Washington was the only American Battleship to sink an enemy Battleship...yes the North Carolina class Battleships were good. BUT, the Iowa Class Battleships were far superior in every single way. Including armaments and guns. Oh yeah and speed.

Who puts the detection module? everyone uses the concealment module so that you get spotted at 11km. How to dodge torps? dont travel in a straight line at the same speed for more than 15-30 seconds, also helps against shells. Dont go anywhere near islands unless you are absolutely sure there are no DDs. (or just take a yamato and tank the torps to the bulges....jk) all battleships are impenetrable if you turn your bow to the enemy, at least when not shot at by a yamato.

While less appealing than guns to many, high HP and a good solid damage resistance is, indeed, something that tempt people. Deliberateness...translation, "The absolute inability to do anything except sail in a straight line shouting "SHOOT HERE!" to, primarily Japanese, destroyers, while pointing at the side of your ship.

I know the ship armor thickness is found on the wiki, but I think it would be handier if you were able to see it outside of the wiki. World of Tanks has this, so why not?

and then your salvo from 8km seems to land perfect in the middle of enemy broadside but all you get is 3 overpens, meanwhile you set bow to the enemy DD and only 3/12 torpedoes hit you in the front but your hp drops from 90% to 0% in a second because NC has 16% torpedoe dmg reduction but hey, you got overpowered AA right? yea you can show them in the 1 of 10 battles when actualy you will be facing CV because nobody fucking plays them, not mentioning that you hardly ever get attacked by enemy CV unless you are brainlessly sailing alone at full speed in straight line

I don't like the Amagi. I got my Sims within 5km of one when he was traveling straight at full speed. I let out 8 torps with 4 on target lead, and 4 slightly less than target lead. He managed to dodge 7 of them. Too maneuverable.

I like this video. but in an ironic sort of way. Its sort of their response to the fact that WG's game mechanic choices have made NC the worst performing battleship on all three global regions around the world across all nationalities and player bases. Its sort of like "OK, we f**ked up, you all realized it, and you're pissed, and you and we know we ruined one of the best battleships in real life in our game, so uh, here's our excuses". All of the tactics given in this video work just as well for every other battleship in the game and benefit other nation BBs more than NC. Until WG changes their aribtrary game engine choices, and BS "national flavor" no amount of video service will change the fact that this ship is the worst at its tier on every server, everywhere.

The modules actually weren't that bad, just that the fire prevention skill and aa survivability were bad. Also, bow on is a viable tactic, and there are people that spec for damage control. Granted these aren't the best options, but they aren't that bad.
