What does new leadership have to do with an attempted robbery of a US post office? Whoever the mayor is is completely irrelevant. Robberies happen whether they are competent mayors in office or not. SMH

Yep I remember it happened in the Bronx at Tremont station. Early in the morning a man followed a lady in as she was opening the doors at the start of her shift.

this 110 post office was always a horrible area even going back as far as the 80s!! I hated to go over there but the 6 train is right on the corner. I used to live down on 1st in 1199

True. I used to go to that post office too from time to time. My great grandmother lived on 111th St. between Lennox and 5th Avenue. And I got family that lives in 1199.

Exactly that’s odd. Unless they somehow knew something about potential big drops within the mail. Aka big money amounts or jewelry or something but then that also means. Someone from the inside fed this information to the would be robber. Unfortunately cops don’t do their homework or it’s whatever. Very few dare to rob a Post Office without any prior knowledge of anything major there. So this entire scenario is highly SUS but well it is what it is.

This station is called The Hell Gate Station this has got to be the worst post office here in NYC they need to demolish this station and rebuild or renovate this office here in East Harlem 110th St right off of Lexington Ave
