Her home was foreclosed on if you do an internet search on her address. It had been sold via auction to a 3rd party on Sept. 30th. Being that she was still there after the foreclosure, this most likely had something to do with her not vacating the premises. The two people serving papers probably carried weapons for their protection due to dealing with angry people not wanting to leave….like that woman.

None. She exited her home, armed with a shotgun to confront two individuals serving documents. She pointed the shotgun at the individuals. One of the individuals drew their handgun and fired in self-defense - just like anyone else, including you, would have done.

And the police have not yet made an arrest .. so that's a fact. And it's an investigation in progress so the police can't release any more facts Then would be legally appropriate to the deceased victims rights and to the suspect's rights. So being reasonable, nothing seems too fishy about this situation. Paranoid woman responds with shotgun to being served with papers, servers defend themselves against perceived aggression with a gunshot to the shotgun lady. Now it's up to the police or a judge to decide if that was legitimate use of force.

She got served paperwork, and chased them down the sidewalk with a shotgun. Paperwork isn't a deadly threat, and even if it was you don't get to CHASE the deadly threat and still claim self defense. She was aggressive, the paperwork person fired in self defense because they're just doing a civil function and getting attacked with deadly force
