Learn Armenian with Hayasa

Күн бұрын

Hello! Here is our first video lesson. To start your language learning journey, you can book a free trial lesson on www.hayasaschool.com
** 3:55 - Many of us use the phrase բարի կեսօր [bar'i kesor] (good afternoon), but the phrase is not natural for the Armenian language. You could use բարի օր [bar'i or'] (good day) instead.
Hayasa is an initiative that aims at implementing modern learning techniques to teach Armenian. Our goal is to make a fully automated platform. We want to make learning Armenian easy and fun.

Most of you know Hayasa through our beginner-level videos. I love creating videos that can assist you in learning Armenian. However, when I began Hayasa, my mission extended beyond just producing videos. After teaching Armenian for some time, I realized that there are only a few textbooks available for teaching Armenian as a foreign language. These textbooks are very useful; however, there are none that cover all language proficiency levels. So, I took it upon myself to design courses from A1 to C2. Our Eastern Armenian textbook for the A1 level is ready, and I've decided to start this crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for publishing the first course. If you decide to make a donation, please contact me, and I'll be happy to share the PDF file with watermarks so you can start learning Armenian! gofund.me/9e8ca5e6

Բարև Ձեզ! These videos are wonderful! I've always been intimidated by the Armenian alphabet, but I'm a trained linguist and your use of the IPA symbols REALLY helped me. I'm also realizing just how similar Armenian is to other Indo-European languages! As someone else in the chat says, I would gladly trade English or German lessons for some Armenian lessons! շնորհակալություն!

For some reason, I have met a bunch of Armenian Women over many years (except in Watertown Mass.-Armenian/Americans or new immigrants R a small crew), and all of them have been unusually nice looking. The Armenian Bakeries/Groceries in the Boston suburb of Watertown are fantastic for Lamajoun and Lentl Keofta.

If you read these comments, here are mine. You present very well. Give us ONE EXPRESSION for things (not 5 similar ones). That way we can learn THE EXPRESSION. This is the simple form of HI, simple form of good bye, simple form of WANT to drink soda ?.... when we are learning, we dont need to hear : this is hi, this is hello, this is what's up ? this is what is going on ? this is how are you all doing ?,,,, just one basic one. and then show us more different expressions. Thank you. Cesar

1. the economic/politc situation from a country doesn't determine how "good" is a country 2.you don't have to learn one language only for trade purposes, armenian is a beautiful language and I think people here are trying to learn it because they like the language or the country in a cultural way learning a language never is a waste of time and you guys have one very beautiful💞
