I've had my gold/red Griffy for a bit, and I like it. I knew it was push to display, even with modern more power efficient LEDs, and that's part of its charm. It could be slightly easier to set, if it waited a little longer before kicking out setting mode, that would be nice. Yes, the bracelet feels a bit chintzy, but hopefully it will hold up over time. Basically, I can't afford the current Hamilton PSR watches now anyways, although a Bulova Computron... I had no idea what I'm assuming is a Pulsar LED watch was used on Stranger Things, haven't watched it. Not a hipster either. Buy one, I say, as long as you know how an LED watch displays the time, and aren't expecting it to be a straight re-issue of 70's luxury. It's an unusual and cheap addition to any watch collection. Look ma, no lume!

cant beat the price, a lot of these 70's reissues are at least a couple hundred for the bulova computron and 500 plus for the hamilon psr, so this really is a steal, esp, since you said, would just be a fun watch

One of my first watches was a TI digital with red LED. Must have been 1976. This Griffy is dressy by comparison.

@@CHAD-RYAN No I had seen them before today but they weren't $10.00. I generally wear Timex Expeditions. They are indestructible. Didn't realize they were retro until I looked at KZbin!

@@mikeking4193 i gotcha, i was able to snag 3. And 3 armitron ridgemont for 10 also. But my alltime fav is the gshock square. With aftermarket bezels and bands on aliexpress

Nice colour of the time... Too bad it couldn't be permanently on,... It would be too hard on batteries though...
