Nope. That's definitely a plated alloy.

@funwithwatches7549 There seems to be a bit of sharp practice by sellers of this watch as several sites have said the case is stainless steel. The official Nibosi site says this is an alloy case and shows a symbol S with Alloy.

I have the green dial/chrome case version. Pretty decent watch, but the fake carbon-fiber strap is not the best - Naviforce usually make better straps.

Excellent finishing and materials for the price. But pay extra for the Selita movement. My PT5000 movement broke after 6 months.

Your reviews are whimsical, delightful, very informative , and insightful. My PD1718 is due to be delivered soon, and the waiting is difficult! This watch is such a tremendous value. The mecha quartz movement, the more compact and thin configuration, and the lack of a date window all add up to the best value proposition vs the San Martin, and the Tudor.

Get the bronze C60 Trident Pro 300 (cosc) and have a look at that one (42mm). Mine is the Blue ombre dial - very good looking watch - but would be a lot nicer with a bronze bracelet (have asked them if they are doing that in future) - will probably have to put an aftermarket (Zelos) on it.

You're becoming the unofficial Richard Mille Homage Review Channel. I can understand why you get complimented whenever you wear those watches. They are very noticeable; they are large, often have brightly colored straps, and they have very complex (or complex-looking) dials. I think that is the appeal of the watches. People want to wear something showy.

It was not me, but I found the easiest to listen to the pronounce is the help of the Google Translator: in Chinese "Mei" means something like "beautiful", and "Shi Ke" means "moments". "ShiKeMei" is what we would say, I think: 时刻 美 - let the Translator say it to hear. I hope there are some Chinese viewers here, with a better knowledge about the language. 🙂

I got the same watch a few weeks back. I think it's one of those watch that is fun to wear and use. Plenty of functionality. I swapped out the bracelet to something else as it was quite awful. Other than that, I had fun with it.

Looks good as a modding base watch. I think the dial might be 30mm. You'd have to add a modified adapter ring (chapter ring), or just use a 30mm dial.

You are correct. I didn't notice it. It is a scratch on the crystal and not dirt. It's only a $10 watch so I'm not going to return it.

Purchased via your link, thanks! Been wanting the Citizen for awhile, but too expensive. Says 24 I think are left in this color way. Also, where do you find caseback gaskets for this shape? I have another watch with the same shape (don't know about size), and can only find round ones, and a few random ones of this shape.

This version of the aqua terra is omega golf edition. It's practically a one for one copy. The omega one has a vertical line dial with the date at 3. The has are blue etc.

Celsius is not hard to grasp, 0 is ice, 36-37 is body temperature, 40 is a very hot day, 100 is boiling water and -40°C == -40°F.

I assume Florida is as hot or as cold as where I live. 10 asks for a hoodie, but no need for 2 trousers, 22 you can sweat if you walk too fast. 30 is a mild summer day, you might be turning on the fan. -18 is my freezer's coolest, 250 is my oven's hottest.

I like Fahrenheit. If your body temperature is 100 degrees, then you start paying attention. If it is 100 degrees outside, then it is really hot. If it below 0, then it is really cold. We all know 32 degrees is when water freezes.

It's a nice watch and very good value, thanks for reviewing. I've been tempted to put this in my basket several times, mainly due to the movement, but I don't think I would wear it, the diamond mainly puts me off, but it's a little large for a watch that is all dial and the hands are a little short.
