As someone completely new to armored core these build guides have made me enjoy the game just as much better, since i don’t know anything really how to build AC’s. Can’t quite copy these since I still haven’t beat the game or have these parts but once I’ll do I can’t wait to try this one out

As much as I love the nebula rifles, they just eat through ammo. On the longer missions or some boss fights you risk running out before a resupply

I've been trying them and they so just have way less ammo than the other plasma rifle. I do like using them, but running out of ammo is a huge problem. I think I'd rather just take my time with the shots and not bother with the charges attack

Yea the fact that it was designed to had rapid fire ability made the low ammo count issue even worse.

PS5 Share Code: B06F928W09FH Apparently share codes don't work across PC/PS5 versions unless I'm missing something. I replicated the build and uploaded it on PS5 with the above share code though the paint job is just a default color scheme that's kinda close. Hopefully this helps some people but let me know if you would prefer me to remove it since it's not my build. EDIT: fixed the generator and re-uploaded

A note for others, you can still get the Melander C3 parts without having pre-ordered. For whatever reason I didn't get mine day 1, but still got them after reaching a certain point in chapter 4.

something to note with the Spring Chicken legs compared to the Mind Beta ones, you do take an agility hit, so you won't be as springy, BUT you do gain the ability to equip 2 of the 6 plasma launchers and I believe you could even equip a plasma cannon on the shoulder instead. if I mathed in my head correctly, might have to swap a generator, but that's also an insane power jump as those plasma cannons absolutely shred bosses (terrible in PVP though). sticking with the agile approach for a build like this is so much nicer and feels so much better in pvp :) a missile version of this is also really fun in pvp, dual 10 missiles on the back + dual wield the defense missile launchers in the hands, I swap between these 2 in pvp quite a bit!

That works but you will want to switch off the Alula boosters. The build as it is already takes a weight penalty to the QB reload speed with the Alula and equipping those other parts would make that penalty insane.

I sorta stumbled onto a precursor of this build with those early plasma rifles and 3 shot plasma shoulders. I really like it. This seems like the natural upgrade to it.

Same, my favourite do far throughout the campaign build is Plasma rifle, twin plasma missiles and the second bubble rifle( can't remember what it's called) with reverse joints. Perfect for kiting at mid distance, circling and bouncing to stay out of damage but hits hard when you shoot down from above with the triple beam charge shot. Keeps you constantly moving and more importantly hits enemies who are always on the move as well

Yo! I'm Galahad on that first game haha. GGs on that game man. I'm playing reverse joints too but focused on stagger and boost kick combos, primarily the lightest Schneider parts for low qb CDs.

Energy weapons seem very good and balance, it dealt reasonable damage/impact/direct damage and it feel pretty fun to use. Explosive weapons on the other hand seem a little bit better than the rest, also shotguns seems to have better range than expected.

dual plasma cannon + dual plasma rifles absolutely melt anything they touch in PVE. pvp wise though they're easily dodgeable unless you're right ontop of your target vs the missiles that stick like glue lol

I ended up theorycrafting a very similar build. Only difference is I'm trying to make the Aorta generator work because the red booster and assault armor shield are badass, but that 4+ sec recharge delay is brutal

@@XiaolinDraconis This. Using reverse joint legs help since it basically recharges in one jump. It specifically recharges faster if you bottom it out, because you get like 75% of it back all at once vs waiting for the delay anyways and it slowly charging.

This is literally the first build I gravitated to when I started the game with all the starter versions, it's just so satisfying hopping around dumping explosives everywhere. It got me through Balteus on the 3rd try because it's just so fast, hard hitting and efficient. Fighting fast ACs with it feels like 4d chess though, it's like 90% baiting dodges.

I ended up going something *extremely* similar for my medium weight reverse joint. I swapped out the booster for the Gills because I could feel the delay on the Alula/21E due to the severe weight difference. Alula ideal weight is 62k but you're 20k over there. Gills is 68k and I'm 81k so it's closer and I can get better boost reload. I also swapped out Mind Alpha core for Ephemera for more EN load and less weight to free up some shoulder options. I can go both plasma bombs or shoulder lasers with the current setup. Reduces stability but due to playing mid/far range it is less of an issue if you can keep away.

I like the idea of double Nebulas... Except for the fact that I've been welded to the HMMR left arm weapon, personally. The plasma flail is nuts. Does ridiculous amounts of stagger and has a Wing of Astel effect on charge, although the AOE doesn't seem to be able to hit single targets all that reliably if they're in range of the charged melee strike itself. Incredible way to beat things directly into a stagger, and it hits like a train during stagger, on top of crazy range. Probably my favorite weapon in the first half of the game.

Giving up melee weapons is def a hard choice to make with how powerful and varied they are. You can work one or another into almost any build that isn’t sniping or doing constant tetrapod aerial bombardment.

this build inspired me to make Frog Mech, only difference I have is I made the top look more frog like and I added songbirds to rain hell. I love jumping towards people and raining explosions on them

Ive made a build similar to this myself, just using lighter speedier parts, and 2 triple plasma launchers while also having the 2 Nebulas. You do have too much weight for the Boosters so you wont be able to make us of them as often as if you had the ideal weight but hey, still works fine.

I think those are the exact same body parts i used yesterday when building my ng+ pve ac, although i used the booster with better/cheaper upward thrust to stay in the air for longer, and used the lighter variant of generator. For weapons im really loving dual laser pistols in pve, 1 or 2-tap most enemies at comfortable ranges, and shoulder weapons can be switched out between songbirds, laser drones or different missile variants :) Working out really well so far! Oh and the ammo for the laser pistols last really long too.

I've been doing the poor man's build of this since day one (standard plasma you showed, with vertical plasma launchers). Buuuuuut I found the Moonlight Sword! Ahhh my guiding moonlight, you were with me the whole time! *cough* Ludwig *cough* (of course Fromsoftware has a moonlight sword). Get the weapon bay OS upgrade, slap moonlight on the left shoulder, and a six pack plasma launcher on the right.... It's an AoE monster. Now I just need to get Nebula (I had no idea it exists until I saw this video).

I have found that using a bigger and smaller ( rockets) helps to keep you dps at a higher rate compared to running 2 10s missile or the 2 6 plasma

I had this same question. Everyone uses Alula, all the time, but I believe it delays quickboost use - not too sure how bad it’s affected.

I'd guess it's offset by being a reverse joint build so your jump is basically another quick boost.

Why would they get nerfed? They're a lot more technical to use than, say, just using the double gatling/songbird combo most people go through the campaign with. If anything, the Songbirds are going to be the first to catch a nerf due to the ridiculous stunlocking potential.

I was just trying multiplayer when I unlocked it with a mismatched mech with the first plasma rifles and laser cannons just rushing close and unloading everything for easy kill the 3 matches I played both 1v1 and 3v3 I was wrecking everything

I am also a huge fan of the Nebula plasma rifles; virtually a better version of the purchasable plasma rifle in everyway, except for one. Ammo! The Nebula ships with little ammo! There have been many Sorties when I have completely run out of ammo for it. Really disappointing! I guess they had to balance it somehow.

Man I live reverse joint leg I'm currently running spring chicken legs half the time and the first tetrapod legs the other half of the time depending on the situation this game is just as good as all the old ones I've missed this so much from software is the best game studio on earth hand down they catter to the harbor game I live the challenge there games impose and game play is so rock solid in from software games and the he graphics are decent but what really matters to me is how the games perform on PC and AC6 runs really WELL like 120fps in 4K WELL with a relatively modest R5 5600X and RTX3080 and 32GB of ram in a pretty basic b550 prime Asus board that I really want to upgrade someone soon one m.2 doesn't cut the mustard but that's what sata is for I guess and they are getting god awful cheap these days I think a second build is on the horizon time to sav we and get a new platform and case and scanner my current PC for the good parts
