Several things to point out about Armored Core 6: - AC6 has a lot of replay value due to the decisions made throughout the campaign (that includes multiple endings), as well as the unlockables of New Game + and beyond! - For all newcomer Ravens, you DO NOT need to have played the previous AC games to get into this one, very similar on how Final Fantasy dev teams create its titles. - Plays different from Souls - same smooth, responsive controls. - Long range arsenal: bazookas, gatling guns, split missiles, plasma rifles and more. - Melee weaponry: Cluster bomb thrower, chainsaw, pulse blade, lances and more. - The movement speed is between AC3 and AC5 - There is a heavy on customization. - Tons of custom paint jobs and the posibility of downloading weapons for making decals. - Legs are one of the most important parts of your mech, because they determine how much weight your vehicle can carry. - Your power engine / energy source is on other one as it modifies the amount of energy available, as well as how slow or fast your energy bar will recharge, when its depleted.

The first thing I did was swap left and right face buttons (square and circle) so that dodge would be circle like my reflexes are used to. Made it so much more natural Edit: Just updating that this works even better because having boost mode on Square/right face button means it's also a very easy action to hit jump and boost at the same time with my thumb because jumping alone when you're not already in boost mode is not nearly as effective as with boost mode, so by hitting both at the same time I can always get optimal jump mobility.
@haruthefrog Жыл бұрын
I did that as well, but then I realised the dodge on square feels more natural to press with your thumb while using X to jump/fly up. I takes a short while to get used to though, for sure

Its better with square because its closer to the right analog. Its mapped to square so you can have camera control without dashing your thumb over to circle.

@@irockmajorly I understand your reasoning, but the muscle memory second guessing from dodge being on another button from what I'm used to from most games I play really effects my reaction time more than just having to reach a little further. What the game play has showed me from watching this person the fact that after that one mission I was never given access to all the other parts that I can buy with the AC itself, and most likely is a bug of some kind, which is really annoying, considering the previous days, I’ve been scrambling to get parts so I can deal with the end of the 1st Chapter boss and I have been very close, but clearly lack the parts needed.
