After my Armored Core 6 reaction I decided to watch a trailer and all the openings from the games. This was great looking back on a great series of games that I am thankful is coming back!

For the ACV intro, the hazmat suits were most likely to fend off kojima radiation that's still contaminating most of the world. Kojima generators and related tech are a lost technology by the time of V.

The lore about Ninebreakers is that the main rival/antagonist of the first and third Armored Core games is the guy on the Number 1 spot on the mercenary leaderboards, Hustler-1 and his AC named Nineball. So, pilots who's skill in single combat and efficiency in executing missions is said to be at a level that could rival that legendary mercenary are referred to as Ninebreakers. The lore has other titles to reflect the skill and influence a mercenary has, like Dominants for example. Dominants are pilots who's sheer presence on the battlefield can have major strategic implications across entire campaigns from their ability to adapt and grow rapidly. Ninebreaker, the game, is actually a glorified training boot camp game filled with challenges and puzzle missions to make you a better AC pilot.

White glint pilot is a monster and a fucking legend , this guy can solo an army . also the fight against him is fucking epic.

Best thing about White Glint? He's the MC Raven/LINX from 4. In other words, in attacking Line Ark, you have to tussle with your past self.

As someone thats never played any of these but has played all the dark souls games, elden ring and bloodborne, im super excited for this. Especially cause ive always wanted a super extensive mech building game

For Answer has probably been the fastest From Software game ever. And the fastest AC ever as well. Lots of fun, when you didn't lose track of what was happening on screen.

the motive thats is called nine breaker is because the title given for beating the top ranked ac the nine ball both armored core 1 and armored core master of arena protagonists beat hustler-1 the pilot of nine ball and final boss of the games leos klain the final boss of ac 2 was the guy that beat nine ball before the events of the game making him the top ranked and the ninebreaker of the game

been having a good time playing these games with an emulator. Playing with a mouse and keyboard setup is quite fun.

Mechwarrior is a great game (I mean Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries is my fav mech game ever) but it's the polar opposite of AC in speed. Mech Assault isn't really the mainstay of the series to be honest.

Agreed on the MechAssault but it got me into mechs (SuperNintendo anyway). I'm actually in the middle of playing MW5: Mercenaries right now. I'm having far more fun than I had originally thought!

Mechwarrior 2 has directional jumpjets (if you bother to equip them and actually can figure out the controls), one of those directions is forward... you could make an Assassin with max JJs go 200kph i believe :)

@@awesomefatBruceLee Yeah which is fun but even in AC1-3 thrust speed was between 100-400 kph without overboost. Then you hit 4 and your constantly doing 600-900. Which should liquify your pilot but meh rule of cool.
