@wak4863, will these changes affect all current named thralls? As in, will each of them have a specialization? Also, there being no more flawless/exceptional items throws me off. I've been playing for around a month and was finally getting a good grasp of the crafting systems just as they rework everything :P

Great vid! very useful info man! I think the weight reduction crafter is going to be kinda useless, I'llcraft the higgest durability for me, and add an armor reduction kit :P and for my thrall craft the higgest armor, then add more armor with kits :P As for the crafting benches I find that quite annoying, I mean I'll always use the resource reduction one and leave it while I take a poop or cofee break :P or if im mass crafting I'll be all night

They could of done so much better. Like having the armorers add vitality, strength, grit, etc. this way players can wear the DLC armors they pay for the way they want. Makes too much sense.

Soo whats the best armor to put on a thrall now? I used to go with all strength or Vitality on some. Not sure what to farm and or craft now. Great content, keep it coming.

Exceptional armors, they used to (or rather still do..) give 7 unless you use Riddle of steel helmets which will end up with 8. How does that add up now?

Can any t4 get a trait at random? I cant find t4 at all and seper doesnt seem to produce them anymore ive scavenged it for weeks havnt seen a t4 of any role.

Hey just discovered your channel and I’ve recently picked up Conan. I got a question: Just to confirm, doesn’t matter what T4 armorer you choose of the three, all three will give +2 bonus on armor?

Bonuses to the attribute stats will be the same with all the T4 armorers yes, The icon only effects which bonuses are applied to the armor values.

Do T4 crafters still craft their nation armors? Before this update you'd want to get a Grr Legbiter to be able to craft Flawless version of Hyperborean Slaver armor. After this update, what happens to those nation-specific recipes?

Hey been a long time! How you are well. So the recipe for Hyperborean Slaver was always in your feats, But people wanted Grrr to make the Flawless type. Now the recipe is still in your feats but any named armorer can make the best version of the armor and you can even customize the stats of it to an extent with the different specializations. Short answer is you no longer have to search for a specific thrall for any recipe if you know it they know it.

Do you still need a specific armourer for the gear? For example do I need Enis Ironwrought to craft what would have been the old "Flawless Theif" or can I put any tier 4 armourer on the bench and when I craft the Epic Theif set it will come with +10?

Any named armorer will have the thief recipe.

Reducing the cost of crafting armor compared to reducing the crafting time seems like a no brainer to me, especially if that cost reduction applies to repair costs as well. Can anyone confirm one way or another on that last bit?

Obviously thats right. The only reason why you'd want faster crafting would be if you have a very limited a to play amd you want to make fast advances the time you have available, but event then, you could simply gather a bit more and leave the thing crafting, it will eventually end up saving you time you'd waste going to gather resources, wich is the main point of the faster crafting bench, thus making it absplutely useless compared to reduction to resources

thanks for this, I was wondering how a friendly player dropped piece of Silent Legion armor and it was 402 armor on the chest and I was only able to make 308 at the time. Makes sense! sub'd

It’s not a mod, it is an official update but has only come to PC. There is no firm date planned for release to console.

It’s a catch 22 lots of bugs on PC right now. Hopefully they are all ironed out for release to console but I also understand waiting for the new and shiny things sucks.
