Presumably you mean* thanks to lockdowns, tireless vaccine research by medical experts and the choices of sensible people to wear masks, practice good hygiene and maintain social distancing wherever possible? Otherwise I'd have to assume you're one of those morons that got all their information from conspiracy-theory social media posts and thought they knew better than all the worlds leading epidemiologists, despite being poorly educated, and then takes every opportunity to display their tragic ignorance for all to see, with a level of smugness that can only be attributed to the Dunning Kreuger effect (look it up - or as you people like to say "do your own research"). *at least 40% of the world was infected at least once, so your 'joke' doesn't even work. Double tragic.

767,972,961 confirmed cases as of the 12th of July 2023, which is 10% of the planet, total cases are estimated to be around 2 billion, which is just over 25% of the planet. The vast majority of cases will be in vaccinated persons and so symptoms may have been anywhere from non-noticeable to a strong cold depending on a person's constitution. The more you know.
