Thanks for the info. Decades of windsurfing. Just started windsurf foiling. Makes windsurfing fun in low, flukey wind conditions. Happy to see AA has a fuselage (70 & 80cm)suitable for windsurf foilers. Based on what others are noting. Armstrong function, design, build quality and "forever" compatibility are big pluses and make the big $s a good value.

Even though the 60cm would appear to be 10cm shorter than say a Moses 710 Fuselage the actual span is about 70cm. When you factor in that the Armstrong Fuselage goes into the wing about half way while the Moses is on top of the wing almost to the leading edge of the wing ,the overall distance (from the wing to tail)is the almost the same. As usual, excellent review!

What does the standard says regarding fuselage length measurement? Can't find the info. Do you measure it overall, or just front/rear wing spacing? Does the build/tail count ? Where to find a source document about this ?

Hi, i was wondering for speed wing session, I mean 500m record (30kts wind), which could be the best combo with Armstrong gear ? ( 90kgs rider, board, wing, mast, fuselage, shims, front and back wing, mast spacers etc.) . Thanks

Is it possible to upgrade a V1 fuselage into an A+ system fuselage by drilling a hole at the middle of it to connect the A+ mast?...or it is not recommended? Thank

Armie would probably love the idea of that, it's not something we would typically suggest in-house, but he might. Try sending an email to info@armstrongfoils.com to ask them and see if they can put you in touch with Armie or a designer on their team. They have designed chop lines onto foils for customization, so they do love these ideas. At the very least they'll have more info than us on things like what metal drill bits they use for the material, good luck!
