Reason: it is a damaging report to the survivor first of all before the perpetrator. Whether she provides evidence or not, she has already been victimised and her courage to come out and speak up has to appreciated and not doubted. A lot of survivors do not come out to say it because they think people will doubt them (just like you're doing) or they think they don't have strong evidence or more importantly to avoid the shame and stigma that comes with speaking up. The officer will also have the opportunity to defend himself, but I am 100% sure that she's telling truth and I salute her courage and will support her in any way possible till she gets justice. Soldier, you're a heroine, I salute you 💪🏾

However the fact she was dismissed and still given 50% of her pension and salaries for the rest of her life even though she never attaiined the years (10) of service which grants you such benefits and perks she only served 5 years and some months instead of the mandatory 10 years ...begs me to wonder 🤔

Dismissal, dismissal, dismissal is not d answer O. How are we sure d army did not cause d so called condition they are claiming is d reason they are releasing her? Another young female officer had similar problem a few months ago from yet another officer!!!!!. A Bendel blogger carried it. The army should confirm if it is same case or not. If d Army is serious, they need to open their so called investigation to a random chosen group of mixed retired officers of d Army, Airforce, Navy n others. Let them look @ d investigation done that included her salary, no of times she was thrown in d gaurd rooms, was she taken care of? make final decision n give a press conference on their findings to Nigerians. The professional board responsible for this senior officer should also do their own investigation apart from d army. Not necessarily to punish, but tovassure our young ones. I am assuming this officer giving this press confernce is claiming some medical incapacity on this young woman; is punishing her n not paying her salary d answer???? It looks to me like her condition was not taken care of n now they are sending her out of d Army that is even d medical core. I am very worried as a concerned bloody civilian medical female. During our time decades ago working for d Army medical core, we were thoroughly notured n safe. Attestation to this, is one of our female pioneer leaders getting recognized recently by d Army!!
