I played flute/piccolo for the US Army Bands from 1985-1993, had a great time (mostly), although I really didn’t like going out to the field and getting dirty, lol! I played for the 1st Inf Div Band Ft Riley, KS; 399th Army Band Ft Leonard Wood; and I Corps Band Ft Lewis, WA. I wish that I had the opportunity to play with this band but I didn’t have the self confidence in myself.
